What happens with an analysed sound when it hits an algorithm like YouTube etc. In terms of copyright triggers?

I doubt it would trigger anything… sampling and reusing kicks and loops has been going on forever.Mr Arkadin wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 2:24 pm What happens with an analysed sound when it hits an algorithm like YouTube etc. In terms of copyright triggers?

can you do maybe a good 808 tutorial? this would be also good promo i think for all beatmakers to check how to do hard 808s.
appreciate it!
woah thanks so much!

Yeah we will be doing an update to the Reverb… should add pitch which should work… also decay etc.Held wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 4:19 pm For the rhythmic impulse responses, it would be nice if you could stretch them to fit the tempo of the track.
Not sure if it will make release but should be soon after.

When you layer acoustic kick to the sub for example, delaying the sub by a few milliseconds can create some separation between the acoustic click and the sub, it makes the click more defined while keeping the ~150hz punch of the sub intact because there's less phase interaction between the acoustic and the sub in the low mid. I could highpass the acoustic layer higher but then you lose the organic lowmid which imo is crucial for fusing them into one. You can add a bit of silence/fade in the amp ENV to do it, but then you will have to move the whole pitch modulation and rotate the phase too, just nudging by 1 millisecond changes the sound drastically so it's too tedious if doing like that. I hope i'm making sense.Phil Sonic Academy wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 2:00 pmWhat is it you would need to do that using phase rotation or amp env cant do for the sub?jtsterays wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 1:48 pmCould you do it for the sub too?Phil Sonic Academy wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 12:41 pm the next build will allow you to add a delay in to the click too.

i´d like to place a very minority wish/feature request:
if we could have the / Display / Pitch - Amp envelope display selection switches midi CC mappable ?
this-or-that / on-off, one CC. Now that would be awesome !
Not expecting anything in this direction ofcourse
reason: i use the kick3 as if it was a sort of a HW module.
i CC some things out, create morphs, make it jammable by working with HW controls.
But i can´t switch the view with a HW button
again: fully aware that´s just a few people who would take advantage of that. At best.
I have great fun with it ! Love it !

I agree, this could be quite handy if it's easy to implement. I often use track delay in millisecond increments when layering kick layers together in a DAW.jtsterays wrote: Wed Sep 25, 2024 4:41 pmWhen you layer acoustic kick to the sub for example, delaying the sub by a few milliseconds can create some separation between the acoustic click and the sub, it makes the click more defined while keeping the ~150hz punch of the sub intact because there's less phase interaction between the acoustic and the sub in the low mid. If you are producing a band and want to replace or beef up their kick you can use the kick track from the drum mic to trigger kicks… useful for adding extra sub or completely replace the kick with something better.OscSync wrote: Fri Sep 27, 2024 7:06 pm Just watching this and the presenter questions what trigger could be used for.
Has me wondering now also...
