Hehe! Yes, a lot of patience and routing to sort it all out.generaldiomedes wrote: I just don't have the patience for thatI just went with a short release instead.

Wow, uh I mean, you used waveshapers or/like heeeeeeeeaavy distorsion right ?EscapeControl wrote:First WIP for an OSC!![]()
I decided to do a song in a genre i'm not very familiar with, pretty fun!
Although this synth has it's quirks, it's still manageable - though frustrating sometimes, even more when your song relies on some glitches![]()
Any feedback is much appreciated!

Nope, it's all done in the synth. Only used a few compressors in this to make up for the synth's wonkyness.Dj Pomme wrote:Wow, uh I mean, you used waveshapers or/like heeeeeeeeaavy distorsion right ?
This square sound seems un-realisable to me another way.

Wow, my bad, your work on this glitch is very impressive !EscapeControl wrote:Nope, it's all done in the synth. Only used a few compressors in this to make up for the synth's wonkyness.Dj Pomme wrote:Wow, uh I mean, you used waveshapers or/like heeeeeeeeaavy distorsion right ?

It's possible to overdrive(?)/glitch out the sine wave the following way.
I've also found volume inconsistency and self overdriving thing. It looks like it just happens sometimes. Playing some notes and tweaking ADSR brings sound back to what it was. ADSR then could be set back to previous setting. I'm not sure, but modulation rates doesn't seem related to this. Can't tell why this happens, is it a feature or a bug ?generaldiomedes wrote:I think I have found one issue causing the volume inconsistency.
A long Release on the ADSR will interfere with following notes. Put a medium release on, and you get a loud-quiet note pattern. Putting on a really long tail and it interferes with notes for the duration of the release.
*EDIT*
OK, silly me. I had OSC2 rate at 0.10, and the AM modulation at 1.00. OSC2 seems to re-trigger when an ADSR envelope ends (not when another envelope starts) .. so basically I was starting the AM osc partway through other notes. I think.
At any rate .. it just seems like notes aren't totally independent even when only triggering one at a time.
