Hm, Revitar was quite good, years ago, when I demoed it.
Anyway, I couldn't wait for a good (and finished) guitar plugin, so I started to use Realguitar.

Hello, I use revitar 2.17 but there are some issues.BlackWinny wrote: Fri May 04, 2018 6:14 pm All, full, and with the source code, etc, here on my web space since January 2017 :

For example, when I loading it in my project by using Cakewalk it crashed randomly, the log showed it's caused by revitar.dll.
And sometimes the preset I choosed sounds nothing, no matter how I changed the effects.
How to fix it? I noticed that the source code is uploaded to Github, so could I solve these issues by building it with source code? It really sounds good, I wanna use it a little bit more smooth. Sorry my english is not good. Thank you.

Hi justinianius.
I'm not native English either, don't worry. I'm French.
I don't know how to solve your weird issue. I don't encounter it, using myself BandLab Cakewalk and MuLab as DAWs. And yet I use Revitar 2 in a good number of works when I need rhythmic guitars or background guitars (for lead guitars I prefer to use IronAxe or AAS Strum). And sometimes I also use Spicy Guitar in replacement of Revitar 2, both having different nuances in their timbres and in their effects.
I'm not developer... I love so much this small guitar emulation that to preserve the possibility to resume it in case of total disappearance from Github an hypothetical day, I have just saved the project as it was when it was abandoned by the last developer.
Have you ever tried to use Spicy Guitar in replacement? It is very good too! A kind of alter ego of Revitar... In wait for a definitive solution for your issue with Revitar 2 you should try Spicy Guitar. It is free as well and provide somewhat the same features.
