Will there be a demo available for Amplitube 4 before the end of the promo period (similar to how we were able to demo the Mesa Boogie amps before the promotion was over)? Must admit that demoing in my studio speaks louder than words / videos (though I do appreciate those too!)

Are all of the same (AT3) microphone models included with these new (AT4) cabs? If not, will the Messa mic models be changing as well?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:The whole cab section is new, in a huge way. That's a large part of the new version, which is a completely new version so indeed all patches from AT3 will most definitely have sonic differences. This is also a reason why it is a completely new version that runs alongside the previous.

I just got in and haven't read the entire thread:
How does this work for people who own AT3 and many custom shop modules and packs? Will my AT3 CS modules work inside of the AT4 shell?

But you do have to buy the new shell.xphen0m wrote:I just got in and haven't read the entire thread:

Cool, thanks. I do hope you guys reconsider just releasing the CS shell without amps and gear for free. It would be more consistent with the other product lines. And here's hoping T-Racks effects can one day be hosted by Amplitube.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:You will be able to run your current gear in AmpliTube 4. There is no "CS version" (if you mean a free version) at this time (though AmpliTube 4 does have Custom Shop) so let's take it one step at a time.braj wrote:Wait, what? I own Amp 3, but what will happen exactly if I just upgrade to the CS version? Will all my v3 stuff be there, plus what I have bought in the CS? I didn't get any emails from IK that I know of about this.
Oh one more question: will Amp 3 users be able to still buy new gear in the CS, will new models continue to be compatible with v3? Or is every release now v4 only?

Looks like it's a brand new amp sim and a new start. That's why there are few models for it so far , can't expect them to have it all they need more time. I like it just get ENGL amps to the the same level into it asap.

I wish Arc 2 was integrated for standalone like T-Racks, but it looks very nice indeed. I have mine ordered.

Thanks. That was going to be my next question.braj wrote:But you do have to buy the new shell.xphen0m wrote:I just got in and haven't read the entire thread:

When does this come out (Month and date?) and when does the intro pricing expire?

Yeah, I just got the message about the pre-order, and with JamPoints I can get it for $70 (30% of the cost can be paid in JPs), but unfortunately I don't have $70 right now. This is one of those things I definitely want, but honestly don't need. I have a case of GAS I guess. Buying I guess depends on when the pre-order offer expires. Once the price goes up by $50 I'll have a hard time justifying the upgrade.

I'm in the same boat. It's not something I really need but I do want it.......$70 is fair. I missed the Loyalty deadline by a few months but I've got enough Jam Points to cover the 30%. Hopefully the sale will go on for awhile. I'd like to demo AT4 first. No interest in the new Marshalls but the Cabs/Speakers/Rooms and new Tuner look interesting.

So, what is the qualification for the loyalty discount? I've had AT3 since March 2012 and have been purchasing modules ever since.
