Do you mean magnification? If so no. If you mean the side minibrowser introduced in v2, when you click the full browser it expands to the wider width anyway if it in a collapsed state.

Hmmm, I forgot it had already changed for V2.

In Omni V1, you have single column browsing (info tab), and the option to expand that to another 3 columns (Shows 53 presets at a time). I really like using 'shuffle' and having access to a much larger list of presets to then pick from.

I'm just curious how many can be shown at once, and if that increases at different screen sizes, or if the size of the fonts just increases.

I think you can only get one column of patch results (or half with info).

A few people were wanting sample drag and drop directly into the granular engine - well, its here in 2.5.1d, along with a few other enhancements, bug fixes etc.

Would be interesting if this update is working better with Ableton live. Read that people have problems with the 2.5 update within Ableton live.

f**king awesome! i so love omnisphere, i dunno why i dont use it for everything yet, i just love for more trancey etc. stuff avenger, serum etc. but normally it can do nearly everything.
big question here, for granular i didnt use omnisphere yet, i didnt like the old display etc. but how is the enigne/sound compared to Falcon, avenger etc.? i so love avenger for granular too, falcon is even superior but so instensive and hard to learn. i used ALCHEMY so much in the past but it got clunky without drag and drop and no display of the waveform on the mainpage. maybe omnisphere can replace my granular needs? combined with layers etc. it is awesome!

Would be extremely interesting indeed, seeing as I'm just awaiting delivery of Omnisphere today and am an Ableton user!

If you own it, why are you asking? Use it! The granular is good. Just don’t have the intensity too high. Usually works better at lower values.

If it's as impressive as Trilian, I expect I will be looking at Keyscape and Stylus before too long.

Stylus is quite bad, don't waste money on it.

If you are looking for trancey stuff in Omnisphere, look at PlugInGuru's offerings like:

These include some great drum grooves to get you started and complete kits you can use to create your own grooves and beats.

I'm not sure there's a way to do it all in one hit, but you can put in the version number in the search box - 2.5 , 2.6 etc.
