What’s this new shared signal path routing? Hoping that means several oscillators can go through a single filter.
Windows multitouch, cool. Didn’t expect that.

Oh wow, they finally added a waveform view for granular! Looks great! And a nice new sharp interface.
Sounding good!

Its always nice when an update delivers 'more' than promised……
Its even nicer when its free, this would have been a paid 'V3' for many other companies….Some may think spectrasonics are expensive, but they are great value!

Still wondering what this routing thing is though. Can’t download until I buy a new computer. The video didn’t go into it.

I don't understand this feature. Does it just mean it can be controlled by hardware synths? I can control most plugins using my hardware synths already eg my Virus Ti has templates for plugins like Massive and FM8. I could easily make an Omnisphere template for it as well except for the fact that Omnisphere has so many params it's not practical, Komplete Kontrol/Kore do a better job of that because they can more easily break an interface down into sections.Hardware Synth Integration!

most likely, Spectrasonics is really good at hyping things. Don't get me wrong, I love their products but they don't hold back the hype

This has been discussed to death. Watch any of the announcement videos. It’s doing more than midi learn, like instantiating effects when the equivalent effect is called on the hardware, or moving multiple parameters at once over specific ranges etc. the prophet x even lets you browse samples from hardware.ATS wrote:aMUSEd wrote:I don't understand this feature. I’m not all that thrilled with the hardware thing. I mean it might be cool if you happen to have one of those ah thanand use omnisphere. But I’d rather they make some nice templates for midi controllers than actual synths with sounds in them already. Coolest thing would be a custom controller with as much as they can fit on it.

Yes it is as you hoped/queried above.
Allows the layers to share a filter.

Yes it is for me too today - large update and lots of demand I guess. But the whole system is very clever all the same.jacqueslacouth wrote:Really? Seems to be taking a bloody eternity here...aMUSEd wrote:I love their new smart update system

@aMUSEd, whilst you wait for the update to do its thing, you can watch this:
