Vengeance Producer Suite - AVENGER - 1.8.5 the main thread

I remember someone else asked a similar question and afaik there is no standalone version, but I can't tell for sure.
The effects only can not be used when you load avenger and there is no additional fx only VST afaik
I would like to add one more thing.
CPU was less than expected, Pigments and Phase Plant and some other synths were higher on cpu, it also depends on the preset.
I am going to grab the current version before v2 will be released, though,
because I am not sure whether it will drastically change.

It's so powerful and I just tried presets, my pal just showed me four modulation things. The last 3 synths I directly compared it to were Phase Plant, Massive X and Pigments. Compared to Avenger they sound like from cheap speakers of a small portable radio, weak, dull and lifeless. I didn't expect Avenger to be so good, I mean to say I have the last synth you will ever need sounds a little arrogant first.
Other devs can be glad that Avenger people are not clever enough to promote the synth effectively, so mostly edm people will pay attention to it. I know 4 more people who consider Avenger just an ufta ufta synth, never even tempted to demo it.
To say all other synths are also presented as edm synths is a weak excuse, is it really what the last synth you will ever need pretends to be, to be just like all other synths?
My first impression is that this synth is an allrounder, maybe even for genres that don't exist yet.
With some clever promotion Avenger might really get the only synth people will have, it just sounds better than most other synths and seems to have a lot of modulation applications. Whoever is the mind behind the synth, my good piece of advice is find some people who know to present the product in a better way, in a way that more people will be attracted.
I will demo it once again and won't buy it until I will have re-sold some synths I have, that I didn't like that much any more yesterday.
Why don´t you think there would be to little attention for Avenger and they would need to present it better??
How many kvr threads about a single product have you seen that have reached (currently) 957 pages??
I would say they are doing very well...
The quality of Vengeance Avenger is indisputable, a TOP NOTCH synthesizer ! not only for EDM but for any genre Pop, Electronic, Trance, Cinematic, Dance, Trap, etc etc etc.
Two reasons why hundreds of thousands of users/musicians will never buy VPS Avenger in because of the protection system that used from the beginning the "CodeMeter" (now discontinued, thanks God!) and the current one, that you have to re-activate every 90 days otherwise you can't continue using it. WTF ??
In short, you do NOT buy the software, but it is a 'Lease/Rent" of it for a fixed sum of money.
Whatever happens with this company, server, etc. or if you have problems at home with your connection and access to the "V-Manager" then you will not be able to continue using it until you 're-register' it.
I give you a simple example, Omnisphere you buy it, you install it, you register it and it is yours, "that's it", whether you update it or not it is yours, it is there in your computer and you will use it whenever you want, good friends with Avenger it doesn't work like that, it will NEVER BE YOURS. This is the barrier that stands between Vengeance and the full recognition of this great synthesizer, to those who don't understand "I'm sorry" but as long as Vengeance continues in "denial" mode, Avenger will never be what it should have been.

VPS has many other plugins too, fx and others, not sure if the fx one is the same fx as Avenger but probably easy to figure this out or someone can tell you here.
Avenger is mind blowing. Not sure why people can't figure out about the synth on there own without assuming it's "edm:. I'm tired of hearing about it actually, but it brought up again and I wanted to point out that I was looking around other forums and the same stigma is attached there, it's quite foolish. The sound is huge and has a clarity to it I don't really find in other synths with a kind of feeling of sitting nicely with its harmonics in tracks, if that makes sense. A lot of other sysnths I have noticed try to color their sound (this I assume what people call character) where as Avenger is like clear, raw-power, the XPs are not just patches but works of art, and it I honestly was sitting there making a track last night with Avenger and it felt almost like cheating. I almost felt bad using Avenger because if you use most of a patch it's like an Arp on steroids. Of course I mix it up with the individual sounds in the patches. There are a lot of non-movement patches you can just play with the keys too of course; and I purchased touch the universe's Avenger bundle, and although you may have to get creative with those other worldy patches, you can't help but notice just how intense the sounds are. The EDM leads in Avenger are the best I've ever heard, just what I would call creamy, clear and powerful. I also thought of something as well, a lot of people tout how fantastic something like Msoundfactory is, but WHO is actually making incredible patches with it? Manuel and the others are making unbelievable expansions for Avenger. I have searched far and wide for the best synth patches and nothing ever drops my jaw, until I heard the expansions in Avenger. Some have said that when you use samples you can get amazing results easily, and that's true but Avengers synth sound is fantastic, and again, where are the amazing patches for other synths people are spending a massive amount of time on like Avenger's? I don't think I would ever spend more than $20 on a single preset pack but $75 for an Avenger XP is not a lot to ask for for what the sound designers put into it. Avenger is what other synths, and synth companies should be aiming for.

There are just too many and as a new user
you are faced with too many choices.
Are the newer releases better than the older ones?
There should be an Avenger Expansion thread, where users share their experience with Xpansions and also what they use it for. Are there also good 3rd party expansions?
I was lucky and could demo the full current version of Avenger. Didn't op post that the current demo version is an old version of Avenger? So maybe one can not even experience Avenger 's full potential with current demo?

Do you own your body if you need to keep "checking in" by breathing oxygen? If the internet goes down for long periods of time, yes it can be a pain. If it were to go down "indefinitely" (there would be worse problems for you if this happened) there would be changes as Andre has shown sentiment to this as there would be fixes for the users.Chipi wrote: Sun Mar 05, 2023 5:36 pmTrancit wrote: Sun Mar 05, 2023 11:39 amWow what a complete turn around (my foreign minister would say a 360 degree move)...Leo1999 wrote: Sun Mar 05, 2023 5:45 am Whoever developed Avenger, I suppose it isnot the soundmaker and features and sound presenter Mr Schleis, created a beast, a monster that makes most other synths look pretty weak. Copy protection helps keep the sounds close to the users, where as other synths' sounds are floating around everywhere and in all kinds of tracks. Let me explain something here that is truly mind-boggling and relatively unknown. MILLIONAIRES use cracked plugins, and/or advocate sharing paid sample packs. The honesty and loyalty to the sound development community is utterly disgusting. I won't go too much into detail here for the fear of exhibiting something that could hurt or cause problems for other entities, and don't want to get anecdotal here (could in private) but developers here are trying to protect the work of art they created- it has nothing to do with not wanting to hold dear to the community, in fact it shows that they are MORE considerate about their own product and feel the system they have in place is best and not just doing whatever is solely best for sales.
This is my point of view, nothing really to discuss here. Just wanted to help you and others think a little differently. And maybe open up your view of Avenger.

Yes, but by thinking a bit further and i.e. having a look at Manuels house in later vids and the huge Hardware park he´s running, I would say he doesn´t suffer from too little food for the next day...idoru97214 wrote: Sun Mar 05, 2023 2:08 pm To be fair, I would agree with him that it is not that present in global marketing. Your comment is subjective and has nothing to do with reality. Are you still an Avenger user? Have you bought it? Have you spent hundreds of dollars on expansions? If it were as you say, all synthesizers and their protections would use the Vengeance logic, and it is just the opposite of what you mention. Now you will have the answer to the 'dilemma' of why Avenger is not as popular as it should be, don't get me wrong, I love Avenger, it is a monster of synthesis and sound, I don't doubt that, and version 2 will be even better. Peace - out.twal wrote: Sun Mar 05, 2023 5:58 pmDo you own your body if you need to keep "checking in" by breathing oxygen? If the internet goes down for long periods of time, yes it can be a pain. I completely disagree with some posts here holding the opinion Avenger is not versatile soundwise or limited to club music only. Imo it can cover almost every music style. The factory sounds and the big choice of top notch expansions give you a huge choice to create sounds for a lot of styles. The modulation potential is the best I know.
Avenger's most outstanding features for me are
sound quality, macro assignments, modenv, fm, quality of effects and the huge modulation potential for expressive and creative sound design. You can create any sound you want and as to in the face sounds Avenger is unmatched and can sound as analog as real analog synths.
I made a video with sound examples of Funkomanic presets to show a different side of Avenger and different music style different from what you are used to.
Every synth has its character and recognizability!
What exactly makes you think it's not AVENGER?
AVENGER is the only synth I used, all effects are AVENGER, no additional synth or fx!
There's only a limiter on master bus not colouring the sound.

sound quality, macro assignments, modenv, fm, quality of effects and the huge modulation potential for expressive and creative sound design.
There's only a limiter on master bus not colouring the sound.
thanks. Well, I just wanted to show how versatile Avenger is. I am not going to become a Youtuber, it's my first video, maybe 3 or 4 more this year. I am rather a live performer, but covid made me go deeper into sound design and I created several presets with different plugins. Avenger is my favourite one and I saved several hundred presets and recently just started to organize them and Funkomanic is my first one.
I spend a lot of time on optimizing the presets, especially macro assignments, modenv, modwheel, AT and effects to make them work great on funk music, but they are not limited to funk just like vps xps are not limited to club music or edm.
A friend of mine suggested to offer it as donationware after some people had asked where to get the presets, I am in two minds about it, though.

C'mon, it's so obvious that you used some tape sim and analog synth in addition or maybe also samples. Avenger 's effect section has no tape sim! Hiding this obvious information is not cool, sorry, not cool at all!JS_SEA wrote: Wed Mar 01, 2023 5:44 am Hello
