The library "This is Vietnam" from Discovery Firm has some Dan Bau samples:

I would love to hear how they sampled Dan Bau before purchasing it :) Anyone have a demo or have tried the product?

Thanks,
Kenny.

Also the reason you hear it in Tell me is because it is actually samples the Crouching Tiger soundtrack.
RA is a decent product indeed. All I can say is that we do what we do know, and the result speaks for itself. You'll have to make your own mind though. ;)

In a way, you may see our stuff as complements to the "collection of the world" type of libraries, so people can easily fix up what's lacking when they need more authentic Chinese instruments.

@Kenny, I think there are counterparts of Dan Bau in Chinese instruments. We don't really put plucked-string type of instruments high on our to-do list though. There are already some existing sample libraries that cover the Chinese GuZhen/Pipa.

It's not a bad soundfont out there, but I remember when I used to use it I disliked how there weren't good vibrato samples or slides, everything was played too straight. But it's free, so I can't complain. :hihi:
