We have not yet announced an automatic upgrade to T3 to users who have recently bought (or will buy) Tracktion 2 boxed or upgrade.

So the groundhog saw its shadow and it will be 6 more weeks of T3 winter!
Thanks for the updates Beno! T3 is looking to be all the things I yearn for in T2 and then some.

Hey Beno, i have one question.
I have Onyx 1640 with FW option. Is there gonna be a T3 added to the FW interface? Meaning, would you give us - the onyx users - a free upgrade?
Last time i paid 20$ (it was worth it!
) and then i was entitled for a free upgrade
So maybe this time i could be warned :>
And one more thing. Mackie hardware with T2 gives me motivation to live and work with music.

All recorded with Mackie Onyx 1640->FW option->T2 (fast sessions)
kisses.

I'm not buying it yet, but seeing that some people here just bought their T2 in a month or so, so I'm curious.
That's the question I have, being that I just purchased T2 a couple of weeks ago.

Ohhhh!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I got a MacBook about five months ago and I've been aching Tracktion 3 ever since. This is such great news. And muti-processing too! I can't wait. I already have all the plugins I need for now so the online upgread is just right for me too. I hope it's not going to be over $100 though.
Thanks Beno,

Hopefully that comment will squash any "Mackie don't listen" posts....Beno wrote: And yes, two items that were added based on feedback from the initial preview at AES and the ensuing discussions here at KVR, are multi core/processor support and automation lock to clip.
Ben
Great to see that these two things were added in.

The MIDI editor has been "optimized for even greater speed and ease of use". Can you elaborate, Beno? Thanks.

can we have more details about the specifications of the 'other bundled plugs' in the project and ultimate bundle?Beno wrote: The online upgrade only includes the software and all the Mackie Plug-ins (mixing and mastering tools including the new channel strip) but none of the other bundled plugs.
For example what exactly is Amplitube DUO and DUO/LE? I remember Amplitube UNO was only standalone.
What are the limitations of CronoX3 'lite' ?
What's a GPO 'Lite Edition w/ starter sound set' ?
thanx in advance
PS tell us about the new channel strip
If I go insane, please don't put your wires in my brain

As an addition to zeoy's question above, will the GPO be upgradable to the full edition. The same with the other lite editions.
Very excited about T3!

Thanks for the information Beno: the only thing I need from T3 is that it runs on my 867mhz G4 Powermac with Mac OS 10.3.9. Everything else is jam on top.
Coffee please, black, no sugar.

Hi Beno,
Is all the exclusive Plugins/vst provide with the T2 box version will still work with T3 in the case I upgrade with the download version? My main concern here is RMIV... was the limitation on the plugin only making sure it was Tracktion the host or it was actually exclusive to T2?
Thanks.

Tracktion 3 is awesome! Just wanted to pop in and say that. It's main sound set loop-wise is from Sonic Reality's RAW (not to be confused with Raw Material Software but nice coincidence!). There's a nice sampling across the range which if you want to know what that is its here: http://www.esoundz.com/sounds2.php?p=st ... =0&stiid=0
