Thanks Looneytunes and Ogg. Managed to get the Jupiter working, just a shame stuck to a handful of presets with such a potentially powerful plugin. Now if we all email Arturia with a petition...

Various happenstance thought ...
"Now that I know the folder where the (what? 16) presets are loaded, could I edit one of the preset files, change bits, and see what happens when this is loaded back into J8V demo? Could I add more presets to the demo this way? Could I ....."
Then I wake up and realize I have to work for a living, and buy all this cool stuff from efforts at my 'paying' job! ;/
Perhaps I'll just wait for synchrosoft support after all ....
