Zebrify and Zebralette both work fine, but ZRev crashes it.

It's just freezing for me when I add them, so I have to force quit Ableton and there's nothing in "CrashReporter". Anything I can do to get a crash log.

P.S. Sorry I keep making typing errors, I promise to be clearer from now on.

Sticking with 8.09 and dealing with it til they come out with a proper fix.
Not getting much music done with all the holiday overtime anyway,have to wait til January to get really frustrated.

Me too. Wake me up in February, we might have a stable version of Live by then

I just realised that the Audio Units in existing tracks still work (and are fully adjustable), it's only if you try and add another that it crashes.

FYI Ableton have replied to the support post on their forum and are investigating -

Incidentally, a similar scenario (All AU plugins crashing/VST OK) has been reported with Stillwell Audio Units.. possibly the same cause -

I tried the work-around on my system (Mac PPC, OSX 4.11) and it solved the problem.

There's a new beta I'm downloading at the moment which sounds like it may have fixed this, I'll let you know how it works out shortly.

To add to this I recently purchased Zebra 2.5 and I'm also experiencing this crash bug with Zrev. Zebra, Zebralette and Zebrify seem to work fine. I did however stumble across a way to make it work. If I drag and drop Zrev to an existing track, Live crashes every time. If I drag and drop Zrev to an empty area to the right of an existing track as to create a new track with Zrev on it, it works. Go figure!

2.16 MBP - OS 10.6.2 - Live version 8.1.1

Oh... I also tried MFM2 and its works fine. Haven't tested the VST version yet.

I also was experiencing crashing problems in Live 8.2.2 when loading my Uhbik AU plugins... The workaround that Jorg @ Ableton posted worked for me so far.
Many Thanks to Krankyone for sharing the link in his earlier post in this thread!!

I was really bummed that My MFL 8.1.1 was apparently the culprit... I have had other issues with Live that forced me to set Live aside for >8 months which by the way was after I ponied-up $400.00 for the upgrade to Ableton Live Suite last year.

I really love Live though which is why I'm back poking around again with MFL.
Iguess that the saying in the computer industry applies"well you want it now, you want it inexpensive,and you want it to work properly... just pick any TWO!!"

Perhaps Open-Source may one day rescue us from the tremendous time that we have to waste working around software/driver marketing issues!

Well, again thanks to everyone and I hope that the workaround is robust enoug for me to get some work done with Uhbik and Ableton!
