This is amazing! Thank you very much.
The guitar neck view would be a nice addition.

I was already planning copy/paste, and it was easy enough to add...

The copy/paste buttons use the same format as the saved chords/mappings, so you can copy from the GUI and paste into a text file and vice-versa. Ctrl-click on Paste uses the same pitches as the copied chord, otherwise it's relative to the new trigger note.

I added a text box to type in chords directly. It can read three different formats:
- note names, like "C E G Bb D" for the C9 chord pictured
- interval names, like "1 3 5 b7 9" or "root Maj3 P5 Min7 Maj9" etc.
- semitone offset from trigger note "0 4 7 10 14" (default)

I might not have any more time to work on this for a while, but it would be nice if anyone would like to submit some chord presets...

Maybe announce it in the instrument forum to get some quick bug testing and user presets? With apologies to WOK

I usually plan to "finish" my plugins before announcing them anywhere else, but that never actually happens...

Anyway, I just added a play button, support for 128 programs with optional program change listen. I need to put a few more words in the documentation and then I can officially release it.

Also note (also to me, remember to document it) that you can copy a text chord from anywhere, and press "paste" and it will fill it in, without having to use the text box. Fun for learning chord theory from a website and so on...

perfect
i want to suggest one thing
some kind of visual feedback to the trigger section for the seeing keys that already triggered would be nice.

edit
one (and a half) more suggestion
the multi channel learn and multichannel play chords .
would be incredible useful (for example with strings section midis)
IMHO

half part is :
again about the visual feedback multichannel chord monitoring
( some kind a tiny 16 leds for the seeing channels activity)
what do you think?

edit2
one bug ( i guess) report
before the sleep
the latest one didn't open the presets that i save with version before the latest one ( im using Reaper's own preset manager btw ).
but interesting thing is my first 5 presets that i was save with 2 earlier version they are works.
now i can go to sleep

Post

Channel selection per note is planned. Need to think about how to display/edit it.

When it went from 1 to 128 presets the fxp format changed... if you still have the old version you can save the preset as the ".chords" format which will work in any future version.

thank you for the answer quickly
hmm per note channel option sounds is interesting ... but
just for the clarification ( because i know my English is perfect :hihi: )
i wasn't suggest per note channel selection
for example let say we have strings section midi which is plenty free stuff all over the internet,
ch1 violin
ch2 cello
ch3 viola
ch4 contra bass
in reaper i can assign this multi channel midi to any of the midiChords key with "3" mouse click its that easy!
but midiChords play this chord as a single channel
my suggestion is ability to playback this multichannel chord as it is
and last note:
even this is impossible/hard to do or not worth to work on it..no matter
This Plugin is Amazing too :!:

Excellent plugin, I don't have an immediate use for it, still, it's good to know it's out there.

This is exactly what I mean by "per note channel selection." Every note of the chord could be set to a different channel, either manually or from learned input.

Another update. Changes:
- Preset ".chords" format now saves the trigger mode (Full/Octave/Global)
- Trigger keys turn green when being played
- Added arrow buttons and editable display for selecting trigger note
