idont understand the logic behind this. i think maybe youre not getting the basic concept of trans-humanism.

if you could churn out vsts from your brain...why wouldnt you instead just churn out the music you would have made with these vsts?

What a frightening notion. However, there already exists various drugs to make orgasms pale in comparison, for some people (I'm not interested though). And, why penises instead of clitorises?

I'm with the whole questioning of having a middle-man on this thread's topic. If such technology ever comes to exist, why would anyone make some archaic software plugin from it? They'd just make the music from their brain directly!

All that said... Don't hold your breath. So much technology is perpetually twenty years away that I can't take seriously this notion of a "singularity" even in my sisters' grandkids' kids' lifetimes.

Of toaster molestation and instant fantasy realization via neural interface / matter replicator... Man I just don't know if I could ever go back to the horse and buggy. Bring on the weirdness I say. I'll even give up most MOST of my privacy for the ability to instantly transmit the music in my brain to recording. The amount of time and energy I spend on getting a track 61% close to the concept I had in my head is... Well it's not sane.

Thing is music will be worth even less than it is now. Financially.
