it's actually even better in that you don't need to even click the + but can also double click anywhere on the black space. :tu: (i've been requesting that one for a long time hehe)
I was just about to say this and I saw your post.

The "+" just means the panel is double clickable, so from a usability standpoint, it's saying this is an add me spot, double click!

Never noticed this before but you can fully resize the EfxSend panel so you can see the full names of the tracks even when they are nested in Groups.

I can't remember seeing this either but just for completeness... :) Track alternate BG color based on depth, probably was there but to many things to soak up.

Amateurs worry about equipment, professionals worry about money, masters worry about fidelity. I just make music.

I also just wanted to say, after using this Group stuff for a couple months, I really don't think people truly realize the power of how Bitwig implemented them.

The fact that you can enter and exit groups is just beyond a workflow enhancement.

So, Bitwig here is my compliment for the month. :)

Little annoyance:
Pressing B opens the browser, and search takes focus immediately, so pressing B again enters a search query instead of closing the browser again. I sometimes open and close the browser quickly to look at a certain folder I got stuff in as reference.

i wonder when the tracks will be resizable...

Nice update. I can now enter audio setting without triggering mayhem. :)

I see that the Tremelo has had a make over at some point.

It still works but you need to click IN the browser area to remove focus from the Search input, do this and you can then toggle with B again like you want.

Doesn't this prevent you from quickly closing the browser when you have focus somewhere else? I like that you can double tap to close panes in Bitwig. For example you're working in the arrange and you want to close the browser, you just hit b twice to select and then close.

I guess immediate focus on the search when opening the browser was requested so often that it was finally implemented without offering an alternate way of opening and closing without typing. I tried ALT+B and created CTRL+B in the preferences, but they both don't work either for me.

Well, I guess this count's as a first bug ;-)

Cheers,

Tom
