Saving up for something you can't afford is the only option. That's no spin, that's just real life.henryparsnip wrote:Look, it doesn't matter how you spin it, I have a budget to work with amongst other things and saving up is not an option.

I generally agree...but waiting and watching patiently is another option. The yamaha ex5 I wanted 20 years ago but couldn't afford because it was $2980.39, I bought recently for $250 locally...and he threw in a volume pedal.bmrzycki wrote:Saving up for something you can't afford is the only option. But the OP does not seem all that patient.

That, is absolute rubbish, as I now have what I asked for in the original post.bmrzycki wrote:Saving up for something you can't afford is the only option. A good example of which there are many. Its not impatience as I was willing to wait, all it ever was is in the original post.bftucker wrote:I generally agree...but waiting and watching patiently is another option. Its unreal how a simple ask for help has turned into this, 3 posts and the rest completely off topic. I wonder how different this thread may have turned out had I only asked,
"If anyone knows of any coupon codes, deals, pre-owned license sales for the The Hive win32 vst plugin, could you please post any info in here or leave me a PM"
Feel free to discuss, I'm out.

You're gonna like Hive. It's pretty awesome. Glad you could get it at a discount too. I don't know if you've tried out the demo for Sylenth yet, but I encourage you to give it a shot. I feel like Sylenth and Hive overlap in functionality a lot. Hive seems to do anything Sylenth does, plus more. I haven't even touched Sylenth ever since I got Zebra and Diva, but you may find it fills some niche for you that isn't covered by Hive. Good luck!
