Im looking to buy TheHive but can't really afford the full price so,
If anyone knows of any coupon codes, deals, pre-owned license sales for the The Hive win32 vst plugin, could you please post any info in here or leave me a PM,
Cheers,

u-he doesn't give discounts usually. Only a long phase of lowered prices while introducing the plugins. You best chance is to look in the market place or file a search request if anyone wants to sell it.
good luck!
good luck!

So wait a bit and save up some extra cash so you can afford it at full price?

I noticed you posted exactly the same in the Lennardigital forum, my advice is to pick one, pay full price for it and learn it, and get the other much later when you have a full knowledge of what the one you picked can do, and what you'd gain by getting the other!
Will do you a lot more good than spending a lot of time and effort into finding good discounts on both (are you asking this for other synths as well?), and then not knowing them as well as you ought to...

Thank you for your advice, which would usually be sound but in this I have my reasons for wanting both.

I understand your frustration but I don't think trying to purchase something that costs $190,000 and up is in the same ballpark as $149.henryparsnip wrote:Maybe I can do the same for that Ferrari Ive always wanted.EvilDragon wrote:So wait a bit and save up some extra cash so you can afford it at full price?
You own a computer to run Hive or you wouldn't be interested in purchasing it. Computers can cost anywhere from 3 times to 10x the cost of Hive. If you can afford a computer you can (eventually) afford the instrument. Eat out less, buy groceries with coupons, put $5 a week in a jar labelled Hive, etc. Make saving for it a priority. It's what I did to purchase Zebra2 in 2006.
This also has (at least for me) a psychological effect when using Zebra2 now knowing I earned something I worked hard for and still enjoy to use.
You can continue to use the Hive demo until you've saved up for it including saving patches. It'll give you time to really learn it and have sounds all your own when you finally remove those pesky crackles.
Start saving now and I know you won't regret it.
Feel free to call me Brian.

For sure, that applies to everything. Except you will save up for Hive MUCH sooner.henryparsnip wrote:Maybe I can do the same for that Ferrari Ive always wanted.EvilDragon wrote:So wait a bit and save up some extra cash so you can afford it at full price?

Look, it doesn't matter how you spin it, I have a budget to work with amongst other things and saving up is not an option. You can theorize as much as you like but at the end of the day do not know my situation so please lets leave it at that. I asked a simple question...politely, received a sarcastic answer and replied in kind.bmrzycki wrote:I understand your frustration but I don't think trying to purchase something that costs $190,000 and up is in the same ballpark as $149.henryparsnip wrote:Maybe I can do the same for that Ferrari Ive always wanted.EvilDragon wrote:So wait a bit and save up some extra cash so you can afford it at full price?
