I'm with you. Fed up with Wusik, won't buy again from them.

Wusik Station V8 is NOT dead, I'm just working much slower compared to what I used to work. But heck, it happens.

so in other words you saying that your customer who have buy your products are whiners and stupid and also trolls too ? instead of learning from mistakes ? instead of solving problems with your software you sell ?

In cases like this, a company loses the free promotion if all you do is request the free product without sharing and liking. That exposure is the reason for a campaign like this, and the reason for asking for shares and likes in the first place. Again, as it currently reads, it's clearly implied you need to do that in order to request the free license, no matter whether you can omit that step or not.

As I said, asking for shares in a promotional campaign is against the Facebook terms of service. If they are just giving away a free product, well, cool. My point was, however, that. :)

In my opinion, it would give a much more professional impression playing by the rules instead of making people spam share the promotional image against the terms.

It's not like Wusik Station V8 will be free forever, it is a time limited offer, only until Wednesday.

I bought Wusik Station V8 for $20 earlier this year, but I understand that the dev has problems getting exposure for the plug.

So this is a way to get more users to notice it.

I can understand that even though I paid money for it.

It is not ruining my day

If you guys aren't getting the point by now I fear you never will. William you are trying to get people to join a Group Buy by offering them WS8 and some future products. Then you offer WS8 for free even if it's only for a few days and only from FB how do you think that looks to the 72 people who have already paid for this latest GB ? Why would anybody else join the GB now ? Why not just get WS8 for free and then if you do actually finish the other products just wait for the GB for them ? (after all you just said you are working much slower than you usually do). You're asking people to support you by participating in the Group Buy and then you do this to them ?

I don't care what anyone else says, from a business standpoint this is an idiotic move. Like I said you're just giving more ammunition to the Trolls..... :roll:

But why did you do it while also running a groupbuy at the same time? More exposure for that particular groupbuy? Like Teksonik earlier said this could make joining the groupbuy less interesting.. so, please explain :)

I'm a long time user of your products and realy like them but can understand that people on the sideline could look at this without understanding.

I also personally believe that your products are worth waaay more than you are asking for them and that "reputation" could possibly hurt your business I think :( I'm no expert at marketing though, but I'd like to see you around in this business, coding great plugins for a loooong time William!
