Thanks for that, Svama! Here's that further info you asked about:

I generally use VariAudio and RevoicePro (RVP) to make vocal pitch changed of 100 cents or less, aiming for as natural a sound as possible. They seem roughly equal in their ability to do that, with perhaps a little advantage to RVP.

I had given up on creating false harmonies by shifting up a 4th or 5th, as the sound quality was just not there. But Tonebooster's Voice Pitcher has an example like that which didn't sound too bad.

I don't think voicepitcher is the right tool for your task. Inside variaudio and rvp you are doing accurate work for every single note. Voice pitcher is in my opinion more for global effects, like monster voice, Mickey mouse and so on.

...what?...no melodyne?...I own/use most every vocal fixer out there...they all have goodness and badness and I just keeping trying all them till I "gets one to work ok"...as humans we are tuned to the smallest of details in language/voice...stuff I do on guitars would never pass vocal muster...hth.../s~

I agree the new melodyne is amazing! Also izotope RX is very good.
