Thanks for reporting this Taifunk. No the grain player editor should not show the loop marker/mode. Will fix that.

Thanks Jo
For anyone who has a bit of difficulty with the new module,
Here a small project that includes a template for the new Grain Player module in waveform mode
the sound is a little aggressive
but you can use the included patch as you want, drag your samples in,experiment and have a little fun:D
I added the module to the front panel using add>sample player,
I do not think is correct but it works(?),
however, it is a temporary patch since we are in the testing phase.
EDIT:UPDATED

PS: Ok maybe a good idea indeed to also post info about the start of new test phases. Will do from the next test phase on, cause M7.2 is already close to release.

Best to re-add that grain sample section to the front panel using M7.2.3.Taifunk wrote:I added the module to the front panel using add>sample player,

I'm digging the upgrade to the sample players immensely.
Seeing what part of the sample that's currently being played is pure excellence.
Just a thought for the basic sample player: It would be cool to be able to click on the sample while it's playing and have it the sample tracking line start at the point and continue playing. And also, if a new sample could be cued up to play automatically after the last one is finished, that would be top notch.
Of course, these are all suggestions.
Still humbly waiting on the clip launcher, but these upgrades are excellent.
Much appreciated man. Stay cool.

There is a new MuLab 7.2.4 test version in http://www.mutools.com/galaxa/
What's new:
Windows: Put the new .exe and .id files into an existing M7.1 installation folder.
Mac: Put the new .app file into an existing M7.1 installation folder.
About the grain amplitude envelope: It's expressed in % of the grain's length. Note that the decay only starts when the attack is finished.
What's new:
- Grain Player: Added Attack and Decay parameters that apply an amplitude envelope on the grains.
- Grain Player: Fixed a little issue wrt the length parameter display when starting without a sample.
Windows: Put the new .exe and .id files into an existing M7.1 installation folder.
Mac: Put the new .app file into an existing M7.1 installation folder.
