Yeah, when I first logged in this morning, the white nearly blinded my sensitive blue eyes
I prefer the non-blindiness of the dark mode, but it's much harder to read the font. Can we get a medium-dark-no-fat-extra-whip-grande-grey mode?

Yes as a fellow blue eyed chap something in the middle as an option might be nice. Light, Medium, Dark like my morning toast.

Text fields are still a bit too bright in dark mode. They kinda outshine the rest of the forum. Dark mode is a welcome addition though, and I'm keeping it on

Edit: Attachments also have a high contrast issue

It looks horrible!!!

The biggest downside however: my custom CSS* isn't working anymore! I guess, that's it for me now - I'm not going through all this again! Bye KVR - it was nice for a while (not so much last couple years though...).

*) i've had set it up just perfectly (for me) - old blue theme and cleaned up - oh well...

I think there is an issue with brightness of the font, regular text looks a little too much like the bold use too

On other sites, I usually prefer the dark mode because it's soothing for the eyes. For the time being, there is currently way too much contrast in the kvr's dark mode. With fonts and icons glowing, it is the opposite of soothing.
