What exactly do you mean by "You can't select and disarm all plugins". If you right-click the plugin in the Outputs panel, you can "Select all plugins in this track" and "Select all other plugins of the same type" and turn them on/off (default [F] key). I use the second command to disable all AMEK 9099 console emulations to see what they are adding to the mix for example.
Or you can click the CPU load indicator select all plugins – [CTRL]+[A] – and enable/disable them using the buttons below...

I quit waveform when it was still Tracktion at 7. I was fed up with constant crashes on OSX. Now using bitwig and Logic, super stable, I even use bitwig for my techno live and podcasts.nowgad wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 1:21 pm
don't be fooled by yourselfeveryone who spends a lot of time with Waveform, does not give up this daw despite all the bugs and errors, he will continue to spend time in it, with hope: well, now, just a little more and everything will be fixed))
I keep an eye on waveform developpmenet because of "my first DAW nostalgia" and try demos at every new version until it crashes after a few minutes.
That's a shame because it is a DAW which is appart from the competition and deserves more attention.

I don’t agree that it just crashes in a few minutesdupont wrote: Tue Dec 27, 2022 11:10 am ... and try demos at every new version until it crashes after a few minutes.![]()

I totally agree. Waveform is a Daw that stands out from the others for ease of use and tools that allow even those who are not professional musicians to create music right away. The interface is very intuitive and the pattern generators are unique. Over time I have tried many other DAW. I like FLStudio as it has a really nice and powerful RIFF machine but the workflow is a bit chaotic.dupont wrote: Tue Dec 27, 2022 11:10 amI quit waveform when it was still Tracktion at 7. I was referring to disabling the plugins across ALL tracks with a shift command. Like, "shift, select, disable ALL plugins". I'm not aware of a way to do that in Waveform...UnionS8 wrote: Tue Dec 27, 2022 10:35 am What exactly do you mean by "You can't select and disarm all plugins". Waveform is SOO, so close. I really just want to see a few more workflow things improved and I would gladly jump on board...AG1970 wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 11:00 amI totally agree. I stopped doing that years ago when the upped the upgrade-prices significantly... and then it got even worse when they stopped offering upgrade deals altogether... I basically just thought something along the lines of "alright guys, I don't use your thing anyway so if you don't want my money that's fine... "dysjoint wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 4:10 pm Yup, I will upgrade regardlessbased on the eternal hope that it will one day be perfect and just to support the company so they can continue long into the future.
but it seems there' enough of you guys to keep them afloat.

Not sure about shortcuts but right click any track/select all tracks then you can mute/unmute all plugins by choosing the option in the bottom panel or using your keyboard shortcut to bring up the actions panel and mute from there.tmaworks wrote: Thu Dec 29, 2022 3:34 pmI was referring to disabling the plugins across ALL tracks with a shift command. I've just found that NAMM 2023 is not near the end of January this year, but in the middle of April (13th-15th). The 2022 show was postponed to June 3rd-5th due to the virus. The 2024 show will return to January (25th-28th).
This means that, as in 2022, the NAMM show may not be when Waveform 13 is announced.
The first downloads of version 12 were on 21st March 2022 and it appears the first videos showing new features appeared on 19th March.

Do you think that all WF users are donkeys with a carrot hanging in front of their noses, which cannot be reached?
I will cry long and hard, and go on a binge if it turns out to be true

For the time being, I have all that I need with WF12 but, is it possible to try the new WF for free while having your former version installed?

Should be. I have 10 versions installed on this computer (32- & 64- bit versions of some).musirafael wrote: Mon Jan 09, 2023 9:24 am For the time being, I have all that I need with WF12 but, is it possible to try the new WF for free while having your former version installed?
