Ah now i understand what you meant.
Having multiple plugins inside a single DLL (like the Vst2 Shell thing) is not yet supported.
I've taken note about it, but maybe that's for later, will evaluate.

Forgot to say, the version of uhbik I tested was the alpha v2, so I'll try the older stable version later see if that works.

Oh right. This is the first time I've come across this, I didn't know what the vst shell was all about. No worries ill stick with the VST2 version for now then. Thanks.

MuLab App 9.3.2 beta for Windows 64 bit is available in https://www.mutools.com/mulab/app/lates ... /beta.html

What's changed:
  • VST3 plugins without a "InitDll" function failed to load, eg. (some) Izotope plugins. Fixed.
  • VST3 parameter editing/automation bug fix. The consequence of this bug was dependent on the VST3 plugin, some had no prob with it, others did, eg. (some) Izotope plugs.
  • When the plugin manager contained multiple plugs with the same name and separated them by the index appendix, then inserting such plugin in a rack did not work. Fixed.
  • New accidental bug since M9.3.1 could cause probs with CLAP plugins. Fixed.
  • When using CLAP/VST3 plugins within a Plugin Slot, then the sound could be distorted. Fixed.
  • Other small improvements.
The Izotope Ozone 11 plugins are still not fully working right, especially when they are unloaded they cause a bad crash because they seem to access DLL code after the Izotope plugin has been fully terminated and unloaded. Odd. I can't find a reason in MuLab, i'll try to contact Izotope.

This is an amazing update.

All this as part of 9.3.

License key prices are a steal.

Yes, user keys are a steal, especially if you're upgrading. I didn't realize until the other day that Jo takes donations:
https://www.mutools.com/shop.html
It's towards the bottom of the screen. Hope you don't mind Jo!

SSHHH! Everyone will want one! :hyper:

I have had a few plugins seemingly disappear from the Browser and Plugin Manager. When I try to rescan them, I'm told they are already in the database. Not sure which ones now as this was yesterday, but I have just had Sylenth1 disappear today using M9.3.2. :o

EDIT: Maybe this is related to the crashes?

EDIT: About Sylenth1 VST3, I just tried dropping from the browser to a new rack and although it was just 'rescanned' I got a message saying it couldn't be found. I was asked to locate or ignore.

Yep! Just made mine ;)

Just started MuLab again. Loaded Sylenth1 VST3 and was asked to locate it again.

I had same issue with several plugins. Could be related to having multiple formats of the same plugin in the database (vst2/Clap/VST3)
Will investigate further later.

Post

Ah could be.
I've just tried dragging Sylenth1 VST3 again to a rack already containing it, the instance which I was asked to locate as above, and I was again informed MuLab can't find the plugin and I'm asked to locate it again. I can do this again and again with the same result.

After locating each time I'm asked, it loads and works fine.

I think you're right. I'm having the same issue with Akai Bassline VST2.4
Having renamed VST3 version of Bassline, the issue goes away.

Yes, that's the case. Removing all formats of the particular plugin from the plugin manager and adding again just one format (Vst2 or Vst3 or CLAP) removes the (1) or (2) index appendix and makes it work.

Post

Yeah sorry, I was just about to add that!
