Good subject for a competition...rework a TV theme.

I'd go for an acid/ambient version of the Moomins...hold on, that's the original.

wrt to Dr Who:
Dr Who: http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54681

Dr.Who Theme: http://www.kvr-vst.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27766

wrt to TVTheme - I had been thinking about that, or updating Movie themes 'For a few Blings more', etc.

I like the idea!

Grange Hill, Tarzan (the 70's one with Ron Eli), oh I'd love it!

hey clueless,

Radio4 have that 'listen again' feature where one can 'listen again' to programs they may have missed.
I missed that program about Delia Derbyshire and if I can catch it before it gets overwritten by the most recent episode, I'd be well chuffed.

I don't suppose you can remember what the program was called - a quick search on the bbc site revealed nothing instantly..

I'll have a look for you - it was actually a drama, and a bit cheesy

but interesting nonetheless, and vaguely inspiring :)

Okay,
Well I was originally intending to be selfish and not tell everyone about how amazing the VST Ian posted (Whooo) is, but if you are looking for the spaciest sounding lead (almost identical to the Dr. Who sound), this is the one. It is the one I was seeking. Many thanks for posting it.

The books are still the best -- they're amazingly cool even as an adult.

Snufkin is definitely one of my musical influences.

If any of you remix the theme, please do submit the results to http://whomix.trilete.net . Quite a few mixes up there already, but there are a lot of genres yet to be covered (not to mention genres that might be better covered).
