Ive always thought a "disable ALL VST" button would be very very helpful...especially if you are doing your tracking in long stages(days or weeks), and mix as you add new parts.

I like that idea a lot. A quick key command would sure be hot.

So what about the mute all right click idea..? Not so hot? ;)

I see how it could be usefull as for situations you described. I thinking grouping or folder tracks or VCA groups could be a much better solution but this could be usefull too. I don't think it should be too hard to add either so I'll add it to the list. I think will.record.for.food's idea was really cool though and I definitely see that being useful to a larger range of people and situations.

I guess you didn't read my explanation above then.
Yes, I did. And I admitted that the new features you asked for were useful. But muting ALL is still pointless, despite your explanation. Obviously you didn't read MY follow up very carefully.

mute all = shhhhhh & solo all = solo none :?

but i dont mind if thay add it! just get them to fix the fliping solo to work like it should!!!

maby a 2'nd solo option that only solos & dosent free up any cpu would be easyer to implemt than fixing the currant solo

:)
This I don't get. in what way is it "broken"????

if i solo a bus i here nothing intill i solo 1 or all feeds to that bus :(
