why does tracktion clip when no other host does?

For some reason I was getting clipping without even getting the red light, so I had to back off even more, which was odd.
But it seems to work fine, and I get good enough levels that way that it doesn't seem to be an issue.
The Sonar demo I tried didn't seem to be as accurate, but the most accurate metering I've seen has been Cool Edit Pro, now Audition.

still though i mix only in tracktion now ;D

Tracktion's workflow is definitely more straightforward. It's about time someone stopped trying to graphically replicate a mixing board and all that crap, and realize what the computer really is; a computer.rpc9943 wrote:damn straight i love audition.

By ditching all of that crap, I think it makes it easier to concentrate on getting stuff done.
