I used it on the master just to help glue everything together.V'ger wrote: Yeah I see the FXpansion DCAMFreeComp is getting rave reviews by others here at KVR, but what did you use it for? Bus/master or on tracks?

Very generous prize, how nice of Arturia! Well done V'ger!
Now for next month's one-synth-challenge see if you can convince them to distribute MiniBrutes to all participants.

Hi all,
Here is now my track. I will dedicade this song to the (nearly complete) confirmation of the Higgs particle in the LHC in Cern. Similar to the experiment itself, my track also stops suddenly, like the collision in the LHC
Wellcome Mr.Higgs

Delays: NastyDLA, IxonDelay

Reverb: Ambient, ReverberateLE
Analyzer: Span
Cheers,

Okay...I worked quite a bit harder at this month's competition. I'm still learning to mix, that's clear.
An Arrangement
Another Chance
Never Been Better
All of these tracks were made in Logic 9, and use the Logic Compressor and Space Designer reverbs. The rest is all Arturia Minimoog.
I should say that I am REALLY surprised how much I liked this software! I had heard so much about it over on GS, most of it "Harrumph....it's not a REAL Moog," then my actual experience with it was WONDERFUL. I especially loved the modulation options....lots of choices and a way to DRAW them!? Awesome!
Please give me some feedback on my mixes. I think I have good ideas, but I'd like to bring more excitement and energy to them. MUCH more.
And thanks again for letting me play, folks!

GS has a lot of people who don't give good evaluations of soft synths. It's not a good place to get advice. I was surprised too by Arturia because most of what I read was negative. But it's pointless listening to other peoples opinions when it comes to sound.Oopfoo wrote:Okay...I worked quite a bit harder at this month's competition. I'm still learning to mix, that's clear.
