Wasn't Diva 1.3 supposed to be out in June? I've been looking forward to this for a while now... some news or a release would be good!

About three weeks ago we decided to release Satin today. But last week we still had a crash bug so we decided to release it on the 9th. Tomorrow we *might* know if that crash bug is fixed - i.e. if we can stick to the 9th.TED209 wrote:Today was definitely mentioned on the roadmap thread...but Urs didn't say what time today so it might be 23:59...gonna be a late night for me...virtualmark wrote:So is there any news on this? I know URS and company are very busy with Satin now that it has been released but is there any kind of news on DIVA 1.3 you can give us?

Our external graphics guy is very busy atm, so we're still waiting for that. On top, we decided that some important additions were necessary, e.g. presets for arpeggiator and sequencer, and a module-wide locking feature. This requires a few general improvements - which make sense to be done inparallel with the AAX port, or what's left of it.richardb09 wrote:I know URS and company are very busy with Satin now that it has been released but is there any kind of news on DIVA 1.3 you can give us?
So at this point Clemens and will be focussing on AAX and general framework issues.
That'll take days or weeks, but probably not months or years. Any more precise timing information by me is to be taken with a huge grain of salt, hence I won't go there

Those both sound like necessary and excellent features and well worth the additional wait!Urs wrote: Our external graphics guy is very busy atm, so we're still waiting for that. Yeah, obviously.Nanakai wrote:So... you lock the module, and then as you cycle presets, that locked module stays?Urs wrote: a module-wide locking feature
That feature is going to be AWESOME.

Yep. One would typically lock arpeggiator and sequencer, but also effects and stuff.EvilDragon wrote:Yeah, obviously.Nanakai wrote:So... you lock the module, and then as you cycle presets, that locked module stays?Urs wrote: a module-wide locking feature

The "normal" parameter locking feature we alraedy have in Satin can be used to lock microtuning tables, poly/mono playmodes, voice stacking and offsets. Or just plain LED colour.

So it's gone from a June release to "days or weeks". Wow, not trying to be rude but this sucks! Personally I couldn't care less about Satin, I've just been looking forward to the promised update on Diva! I've been checking the website regularly for the past few weeks, what a waste of time. So it could be next year now by the sounds of it?
