Serum 2

I bought Serum through Splice, at the time it was possible to resell it, not its not, so I am stuck with it even if I don't use it much. So I really hope version 2 brings something I like so I don't keep feeling like i wasted 189.

I once almost pulled the trigger on the rent to own thing, but, 189 € is way to steep, even doing that. Matter of principle for me.
Yeah, Serum aint cheap... but it's the best wavetable editor available today
Have you tried Icarus from Tone2? Maybe it's a matter of taste, but as for converting a WAV into a wavetable, I find it better than Serum.
Neon City for u-he Repro - 80s pop & Synthwave soundbank
HARDWARE SAMPLER FANATIC - Akai S1100/S950/Z8 - Casio FZ20m - Emu Emax I - Ensoniq ASR10/EPS

I agree... I also think Icarus does better at converting audio to a wavetable. But Icarus is not so flexible for exporting wavetables in a variety of formats for use in other software or hardware wavetable synths.

Yeah that's true. Serus is really great for that.

Remember, kids! All it takes is one careless keystroke!
I started on Logic 5 with a PowerBook G4 550Mhz. I now have a MacBook Air M1 and it's ~165x faster! So, why is my music not proportionally better? :(

If DMG Audio is involved, v2 will cost 378.

If Steve keeps to his word (which I have no reason to doubt) then as a serum owner rod zero will get serum 2 for free.
