I have a question. How do you put custom samples (a.k.a."ROMs") into GenesisPro? Also, what formats do they need to be? Been searching around the net but still haven't found an answer to this. Looks like it doesn't even come with a manual lol. Really good synth for the price, though.

On PC they need to go into one of the 'Custom Roms x' folders in this directory
C:\Program Files (x86)\GenesisPro\Roms
I used .sf2 soundfonts. Not sure about what other sort of soundfonts work.

It's not about "liking". I want to use it in Tracktion Waveform which is 64-bit with no native bridging support. All I want is to run Genesis as it is. If this DAW would have supported 32-bit plugins as well, I wouldn't have even think about jBridge and stuff like that.overhishead wrote: Sun Mar 22, 2020 3:01 pmanybody who "likes" to run 64 bit plugins because they are 64 bit can't be a very interesting person.rasmusklump wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 7:50 amWhen one likes to run 64 bit plugins one should stop buying 32 bit plugins.Sughosha wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2020 5:19 amI want to see clean Genesis as it is and to feel at least that I'm running 64-bit Genesis Pro.![]()

You can find them in C:\Program Files (x86)\GenesisPro\Roms.

cumbersome way is to do it in free polyphone software
Also please guys when making new patfches use velocity, most genesis patches dont use velocity to control the amp or filter.
Its in general section, velocity amp and filter, i think all patches have them off
It means youre playin sounds in the same way those siilver casio keys do, without velocity response, cheap as hell.

Not much point in troubleshooting this disaster so called pro VST.
Why don’t you guys get Pigments from Arturia, that offers so much, much more?
Mind boggling

haters, got anything better to do than chime in on this threat?
and it must be a threat (sic) if you can't stay away from the topic.
I'm merely enthusiastic about the concept of a plugin, but some of you guys are all up on Ummet like you were jilted.

At this time, it's the way it is. I however can see (in 4-D) that with the right amount of interest and enthusiasm that this plugin could evolve like every other piece of software that isn't given up on does.Sughosha wrote: Mon Mar 23, 2020 1:42 am ...
