It's not just PM Delay, it's all of them. The usual hotkeys (Alt/Ctrl/Shift+Mouse) don't work. They're too coarse.
This is why I say that inserting numeric values on top of more fine tuning would be great.
Also... Certain features like Offset, or "Ratio" (Multitap) could see a popup or something where I can see which values I even set up. Tr Multitap delay is unnecessarily confusing this way.
Else, the plugin is good so far. But it's the details that make it into a great plugin

Is it just me or is it by design I don't see any other presets in the browser when I choose to save?
I have never had a plugin which doesn't list it's own presets when you save, it's very annoying
since I have a long habit of saving alot of presets with variations, like "Echo Bla bla 01 00, Echo Bla bla 01 01..." and so on.
So when HY-Delay2 don't add the preset name it already have when you save and also don't display any presets which already exists in the directory (which I could use to quickly copy it's name, and rename) I have to retype the full name every single time.
This make no sense to me at all, is it by design or perhaps I overlooking something but it's a pain. (win7 x64)

If you click "save as", existing presets will be displayed like this.
So if you click one of them, you can make it's variation easily.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

If I name the preset as "new preset ***" it shows for some reason.hyakken wrote:If you click "save as", existing presets will be displayed like this.

Here's a screen, on the left is the folder displayed in explorer.
You can see it will suggest "old preset" when I type "o" so you now it's there but not listed.

I checked it.Kr3eM wrote:If I name the preset as "new preset ***" it shows for some reason.hyakken wrote:If you click "save as", existing presets will be displayed like this.

And as you said existing presets are not displayed in windows version.
I will change this thing next update.
After next update, I will look into time controlling stuff.Compyfox wrote:It's not just PM Delay, it's all of them. The usual hotkeys (Alt/Ctrl/Shift+Mouse) don't work. They're too coarse.

So please wait for a while.

Thank you Tadashi, but ping pong mode doesn't sound right. And the dry level is quieter than it should be, is that the demo mode protection?
New users PM me for a 10% FabFilter or 20% MeldaProduction/United Plugins discount

Ping pong behavior is not correct?Lesha wrote:Thank you Tadashi, but ping pong mode doesn't sound right. And the dry level is quieter than it should be, is that the demo mode protection?
Ableton Live has PingPong Delay effect and I used this as a reference.
about dry volume
Can you try to set d/w knob all way to the right?
In demo mode, you output sound will be fade in/out every few minutes.

Try using NastyDLA or NI Replika for reference.hyakken wrote:Ping pong behavior is not correct?Lesha wrote:Thank you Tadashi, but ping pong mode doesn't sound right. And the dry level is quieter than it should be, is that the demo mode protection?

There's two ways to implement ping pong:
1) two delay lines panned opposite, input goes to one, and feedback is fed to the other line, and back again
2) single delay line with the repetitions simply panned left/right
Really liking HY-Delay so far, very clear and easy to use but very versatile. Might be just the delay I've always wanted.

I agree with this sentiment. Since moving to Bitwig I've been missing the tap delay from Studio One. Without derailing the thread I'd like to hear other opinions on delays. I have only tested a few but none sound as good as HY-Delay..jon wrote:Really liking HY-Delay so far, very clear and easy to use but very versatile. Might be just the delay I've always wanted.
I'm also pleased to see Hyakken finally supporting Mac AU and VST.
Much respect!

My way is like this
1) using delay line x2
2) delay line1 = current delay time, delay line2 = twice of current delay time
3) 100% cross feedbacking each other
I tried NastyDLA and read manual of it.
It seems same as this way.
"1) two delay lines panned opposite, input goes to one, and feedback is fed to the other line, and back again"
I will try this way.
Interface design of Studio One's Multitap Delay looks very good.Everglide wrote:I agree with this sentiment. Since moving to Bitwig I've been missing the tap delay from Studio One.
