Well.. if it's x86 win only, it's hard to see as anykind of monster.AlesisVi61 wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2020 4:00 pm A next-generation monster synth for 1 euro? I'll believe it when I see it available for purchase.![]()

Maybe a next-generation monster like this one:

Whilst it doesn't particularly wow me compared to any of the other synths I already have, if this really is being sold for 1 euro then that is an absolute bargain, and fantastic news for anyone who's just starting out and hasn't invested in a lot of synths already. Amazing deal!!
Slightly disappointing that it only has 2 LFO's though for a synth coming out in 2020. Will the additional envelopes by loopable I wonder....

I would venture to say that for a $1.10...it is a monstrosity....it's certainly hyped up as such,by the developer.Distorted Horizon wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2020 7:37 pmWell.. if it's x86 win only, it's hard to see as anykind of monster.AlesisVi61 wrote: Wed Feb 05, 2020 4:00 pm A next-generation monster synth for 1 euro? I don't think so. That mass of modules and wires in the latest video is SynthEdit and he said that's what it looks like inside. So SynthEdit. There may be a few custom coded modules in there but it's still SynthEdit.TIMT wrote: Wed Dec 04, 2019 2:21 amIt was made in Outsim Synthmaker now called Flowstone.based on the text and a few of the graphical elements,it doesn't seem to not be the case with the update.it could be a case of just the graphical elements being wrapped in Flowstone though, like what Variety Of Sound used to do,but the DSP was all his own code
Well, it might be if it's as good a sit seems but, as it's made in SynthEdit, I think it could be a real CPU hog. It's look a couple of orders of magnitude more complex than anything I ever made in SE.DimagiC wrote: Mon Feb 03, 2020 4:20 pmWith such price this is serious challenge to Soundspot and WA Production with their cheap mid-quality plugins

It will be Windows only and 32-bit. And they'll sell thousands. I'm not one to get ecstatic about a new synth made in Synthedit...yet I'm looking forward to the release of Genesis Pro and I'll be one of the first in line to purchase.gruberman wrote: Tue Feb 04, 2020 2:02 pm The Youtube comment section is in euphoria. @Dasheesh Truth.
@simmo75 I don't think it's been stated by the Genesis Pro dev, but since the synth includes certain Synthedit modules, I believe that prevents it from becoming 64-bit. But don't quote me on that. Like others, I'm hoping a 64-bit version is on the way too.
