Breeze 2 has two formidable plate algorithms as well. They're super dense with metal-like dispersion but the contour and other options let you shape it any way you want. Make sure you explore it thoroughly before investing in other reverbs. Consider pairing it with Precedence for positioning. They work really well together.Spring Goose wrote: Wed Dec 23, 2020 11:41 pm Oh i have Soundtoys Little Plate and Arturia. I'm looking forward to getting Shimmerverb. I'll just hold down one key or chord and sit back and relax and smile!
Take a look at Xenoverb. It can be very inexpensive on sale, the shimmer algo may be what you're looking for (dual pitch shifters +/- 24 semitones), and it would add some more versatility that you won't find in other reverbs. Of note, Bode has a Moog modular style frequency shifter in feedback (try automating frequency), Glass is a transparent FDN with natural decay up to 20 seconds, and Flow has a bloom effect (think MIDIverb on All I Need by My Bloody Valentine). You can also freeze any algo and automate flushing the reverb (very quick fade). So you can do things like have it bloom for infinity then cut it off before the next section hits as an insert.
