There was talk about the envelope follower.
I thought @kraster mentioned there is one, or "a way" to get that functionality ?
Was that just within a specific FX block ?
This thing *requires* to have an Envelope Follower.
and here my feature request:
A "CV" Recorder**. This thing NEEDS to have that !
- syncable to "sample lenght" and to "sample play" loop lenght
- syncable to Host tempo
- syncable to other sources
- following the "sample lenght/loop lenght" settings ( with own settings for that. On-off )
- capable of looping*
- *.... but don´t kill the recording based on the loop switching over to restart (so: ignore "loop" at record ( add a button for this) )
EDIT: or have i missed something here ? (easily possible. i do not read manuals)
if there´s no ENVfollow: "Feature Requested" !
- please add a better one with nifty settings.
- there is some microcosmos vs. "possible settings" nobody takes ever care of
Edit: ** CV Recorder means here: the abuility to record manual knob movements
- a quad "CV Recorder" slotin FX would be nice. And a octal one on top of it

Envelope follower really sticks out to me as something I'd like to see. There is one in the Gen module.Funky40 wrote: Wed Oct 22, 2025 3:01 pm There was talk about the envelope follower.

Syncable to musical divisions is another top priority.
Also being able to reset play position/Agitator phase. At the moment the Stop button in Gen can only be reset by clicking on the button ie. You cannot automate it/assign it to a midi key.
You can assign the play button and the record button but not stop. The Play button acts as a gate when in Midi mode and is basically a play/pause style ie. retriggering the midi note does not reset the playhead in the Play module.

agreed, "needs" some "trigger play/stop/etc." capabilities.kraster wrote: Wed Oct 22, 2025 3:31 pm

I was not able to CC map a button to "play" @sample player in my host. Using host automation. By whatever reason.
personally i´d like to see some "add marker" options in the sample player, and "play from marker "x" " note mapping capabilities. Ideally even with the option that each Marker can have it´s own set of settings, sinmilar to the preset thing.
disclaimer: "needs" and "must have" allways means: "would be very nice and useful to have it"

Crickets. While the introductory period is about to expire.
On one hand it’s kind of endearing that they don’t seem to have the business side under control. On the other hand I can’t/won't buy their product and they lose business.
I’m guessing there’s a reason for this that’s not just plain incompetence, but I’m having a hard time seeing the benefits of their shop strategy.

Processing spoken word (my own voice, a quote from Arnold Schönberg's A Survivor from Warsaw) with Atelier, its sample player is a fully fledged granular re-synthesizer which is capable of pretty weird things...

I'm not the biggest fan of the super dark gui. I do love all the GRM tools stuff I've used and the bits I own. I hope this platform/ plugin gets lots of updates and extra algorithms, modulators. Probably will continue to hold off for now. Mostly because I have a giant pile of tools for borking up buffers of audio already and I'm not actively working on any musics. Still rad. Did they announce windows release and stuff yet?
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

edit: ah, ok. they are working on it. I hope they fix it before the sale ends
... dang, I so wanted to use this today. please give an update on the payment

This is quite fun! I feel like it could use a couple more exciting processing effects, but its quite fun how much you can already do with what's there. But sure am missing some of the other magic from the older GRM tools!

i find "this" dark GUI to be super great. Can´t say that for that many.
Atelier lacks the superslider !
vs. manual jamings is it losing out on *alots" of potential, without. I mean: ALOTS
(yes, i use preset switching for manual jam purposes. It´s not same. Not even close)

What is the patch management like in Atelier? Is it still just a save/load dialogue and no actual patch management? Does it ship with any presets to explore other than 8 snapshots per module?

There is a menu/browser for patches and does come shipped with a number of patches.
Saving patches is done by system dialogue but that's fine. They still appear in the menu and you can add as many folders to the menu as you want.

this is the weirdest product rollout I've ever seen. Atelier has been out for more than a month and they still haven't fixed or addressed the issuenanostream wrote: Fri Oct 24, 2025 9:37 amCrickets. While the introductory period is about to expire.
