For me, registration is unavailable. I used kvr e-mail adress, kvr login and kvr password as well, "Loading" message lasted for few minutes and dissappeared. I can't login with credentials I provided.

Seems to be working fine here. If it persists try sending bjporter a pm.

If this is your first time voting you need to use the link at the top to 'Register a New Account'. The voting site and login is different from your kvr login.

It does still not work, neither ff, nor chrome nor edge. I'm away from my desktop in a couple of days and only back after the voting period...

Now the error box says: Wow something is messed up... tell bjporter about this: com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.StatusCodeException: 404 Not Found <html><head><title>Apache Tomcat/7.0.39 - Error report</title><style><!--H1 {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;font-size:22px;} H2 {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;font-size:16px;} H3 {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;font-size:14px;} BODY {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:black;background-color:white;} B {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;color:white;background-color:#525D76;} P {font-family:Tahoma,Arial,sans-serif;background:white;color:black;font-size:12px;}A {color : black;}A.name {color : black;}HR {color : #525D76;}--></style> </head><body><h1>HTTP Status 404 - /502.shtml</h1><HR size="1" noshade="noshade"><p><b>type</b> Status report</p><p><b>message<

Hey,
I also have problems by login. I can't remember my password and I am not able to use the 'Forgot your password?' function.
When I do, it displays the loading animation, and eventually I get the following error message :

Something went wrong, error message: com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.StatusCodeException: 500 Internal Server Error The call failed on the server; see server log for details

I'll send a PM to bjporter, I guess...

The server is having issues atm, so logging in might be a problem. Try again tomorrow.

Next day - still same problem. I'm soon away from my desktop and only return after the voting period is over. And I'm not able to do the drag-to-vote stuff on my small mobile display...
Please just add 5s to everybody in my name, or alternatively get me of the track list. Thx.

If you really cannot get your vote in via the voting site please send your votes directly to me or bjporter (spreadsheet will do)
Also - please check your private messages and get back to me. Thanks.

Right, especially with a single synth and not an inch of Collins funky talent.

Just to be clear. I enjoyed the tune a lot and I applaud the boldness but you are really trying the impossible here :D.

A mini-update, added the global Octave control:
https://www.kvraudio.com/product/gr-8-b ... /downloads

Cheers!
Not sure why, but this update seems to have changed the internal mappings. Automation from the previous two versions of GR-8 have automated the same, this latest octave control update has caused e.g.

OSC Pulsewidth has now become PWM Source
Filter Cutoff is now Env2 Sustain
Filter Resonance is now Filter LFO Depth

Could just be how Bitwig saved automation mappings maybe? Not a big deal, I just remap them in Bitwig, but might cause some confusion as I thought I'd lost all automation in the latest update until I figured out it's all changed what's being automated.

Edit: Looks to just be the parameter list has all shifted down a position with the Pitch Octave added to the top of the list, but Bitwig must use the index position of the parameter in the GR-8 list rather than index by the actual parameter name as a string.
Hi hockinsk3,

This was already posted in the other thread, but I couldn't find what's wrong. Many thanks for investigating, the list you've posted helped me find 3 parameters with wrong names. Two of them shifted the others by two positions, while one is later in the list.

What I knew is that parameters have their unique, automatically assigned, random number that is used for saving presets. But I didn't know that the same IDs are not working for automation. It looks like automation parameters are ordered alphanumerically.

So while I had good intentions to include a few requested controls, that change made chaos with automation. There's no fix for this kind of screw-up. :dog:

I will first investigate how should I organize the parameter automation list, making it bullet-proof for the eventual future addition of controls. I will release an update after this contest ends, so it doesn't mess up automation to people few days before the deadline.

My apologies to everyone affected by this bug.
Well crap. Having things happening in my life meant I recorded and posted my sub without critically listening (long story, life is a radioactive tumbleweed sometimes) so I'm pretty sure this nuked most of the automation in my piece. Life is pain.

LOL, thanks! I pretend that doing a tribute doesn't necessarily mean to be able to play as good as the target musician.

Haha, always a good idea to render in realtime if you have the time and machine to run it like that.
