Excuse my ignorance. Is it yourself that we'd need to PM? I tried the DEMO Pack and liked it. I may be interested later in the week. Cheers.MillerSam wrote:TW-Sound has a summer sale on the Bundle of the FB-01 Sample Library

Yes, I'm the recorder and the publisher.
I have put it on Sampleism.com for better marketing
Here I want to give it for a better lower price away because I have less fees to pay
If you are interested, buy it at sampleism or directly over me, only PM me

Good for you, 10 bucks for that multi fx unit is the bargain of the seasonCrackbaby wrote:I never bought SFX machine at all (had to check what the hell it was even!) and yet i got that email

Same, hella weird.Crackbaby wrote:I never bought SFX machine at all (had to check what the hell it was even!) and yet i got that email
EDIT: Not entirely sure it's even worth $10 though, just had a quick look at a video demo (from 2010!) and it seems and apart from the x64 update, nothing else has really changed in 3 years. Vintage VST effect?
PS: Yes, I am that frugal these days... I have too much software that I bought for a no-brainer deal and never use (audioMIDI edition Breverb comes to mind etc etc).

I just got an email back from The Sound Guy, and he confirmed the $10 AudioMIDI email is legit.

I picked this up and it seems to be really useful for interesting, non-standard effects. There are a lot of presets, but not all are really useful (imo), nonetheless they serve as great examples of how presets are created.

Has anyone tried the G-Sonique Vintage Guitar Boutique?
Seems there's an intro price of 14.94Euros.
I downloaded the demo but it doesn't have the tube scream in it, which is one of the pedals I was really interested in

Ok, so I asked Native Instruments if they would ever consider selling Kontakt without the sample library in hopes to have a reduced price in the software. This was their response:
Seems a bit expensive to me.. or is it just me?
So essentially, their sampler costs $400 (now on sale for $200) and you get the free library!Thank you for contacting Native Instruments!
KONTAKT 5 always includes the free library, it's not available without.

it IS expensive. I don't want to fill up my hard drive with a bunch of samples that I may or may not have any use for. I agree it would be great if they would put out an inexpensive version without the "free" samples. third party sample developers putting out a sample library that can't use the kontakt player limit thier potential customer base only to the full kontakt owners. even at $200, I will never be one.

Well said. Yeah, it really is a shame that 3rd party developers have to take the hit on that. I too will never buy a software sampler for that kind of price. My money could be much better spent on almost anything else. I just can't justify the cost for the value..fx1mark wrote:it IS expensive. There are plenty of cheaper alternatives to Kontakt. SFZ Sample Player is free, and there are a bunch of Kontakt libraries also available in SFZ format.
