I just watched a sonic state video with Dave Spiers introducing oddity3, and he said they had plans for MPE eventually, so that’s great. Even having polyAT now is great.

This thing is amazing. Only thing it's lacking is poly unison

If Gforce release a modern synth with all the knowledge they've acquired on modelling etc it's going to be killer. I mean something with better modulation, unison, a proper sequencer or sequencers, layers, etc.

Agreed! Sound-wise, GForce Software certainly know their onions.pierb wrote: Wed Nov 23, 2022 4:01 pm If Gforce release a modern synth with all the knowledge they've acquired on modelling etc it's going to be killer. But they also need to hire professional GUI designer(s), to provide a truly 'top-tier' professional user interface experience. Like most of their other rival synth developers.
The quality of sound that GForce products deliver, deserves to have better user interfaces (with more user-friendly features and QOL polished refinements), in order to catch up with those from some of their competition.
EDIT: ^ In the space of around one year since I originally made this comment, Gforce have effectively corrected both of those misgivings I had, regarding the quality of their plugin GUIs. So, having come across this old comment, it felt wrong to just leave that complaint and not address all of their positive work in that area. To the degree that I no longer have these misgivings about Gforce's user interfaces.

Agree with all the comments about the UI. It really is dated looking for something made in 2022. The tweaks needed:
- Slightly larger text labels all around
- tictacs are all weirdly blurry and fuzzy
- Selected parameter indicator and highlighted slider tracks are all super dated, blurry glowing purple??
- expanded xLFO / xADSR and effects section makes the window too tall. I'd suggest trying to cut that sections heigh in half if possible

I have the Oddity 3 and the sound is great. However I have an annoying problem: in some of the presets there's always a basic sound going on - no key pressed, VCA gain at zero, but it keeps bubbling on, you hear the S&H modulation going.
Any ideas?

Could you give the names of the patches where you hear this?pjwassermann wrote: Tue Mar 10, 2026 10:42 pm I have the Oddity 3 and the sound is great. A well-behaved signature.

It's a preset that I made myself. The concept is that every keystroke has a slightly different filter cutoff setting by using the S&H generator. But the S&H keeps tugging along at low volume when there is no key pressed.

Screenshot would be helpful. I would look at the AR and ADSR settings. The toggle buttons beneath the ADSR for starters.

I found it, it was the S&H Gate switch. I set the S&H trigger source to KYBD instead of LFO. This stopped the generator from "tugging along" while I wasn''t playing.
Thanks for your help!
