Have been trying to re-download my SM3 license from my account for 2 days, but the download never completes. Im seeing about 1-2MB/second, then it trickles down and dies. Anyone else having trouble getting downloads from synthmaster dotcom?

Another user reported a similar issue, but we can not reproduce it. Our CDN provider CDN77 has various endpoints around the world, looks like this is a CDN77 issue. I will try resetting the CDN cache. Could you PM me your user details so that I try to reproduce this issue by using a VPN ?

Sure - PM'ing you now. Im able to log into the "user area" of the site without any problem, but when I click on any download I get that connection issue.

Have you tried it from within the plugin. I downloaded 3.4.6 without any problems that way.

I had to do a rebuild of my music workstation, and all the installers I have for SM3 turned out to be update installers and not full installs. So I have to get the full installer first.

I know i bought a lot of Presets omg* so i would like to use both Synthmaster Plugins on a Linux System.
Do you hear us again and want to complete the Collection?

Still, no resources. We are a very small "team" of 2 (me & my brother) right now, and unless I see a significant "return on investment", I hesitate to allocate time for linux development.

SM latest version, Mac Sonoma 14.7.7 with Logic 11.2, init patch, load a sample, go to editor, select slice, switch mode to user, select sensitivity high, then go to wheel menu, choose separate slices as key region, go back to sensivity and change for medium or another one : instant crash, 100% replicabke

Hi, I have installed the latest 3.4.6 version released few days ago, unfortunately when I load a sample and try to move the slices it crashes Logic, IntelMac Sonoma 14.7.7. Since then it's doing something weird because I cannot load SM3 in Logic anymore, it crashes instantly, I have rebooted two times my MacBook Pro but still Logic doesn't want SM3 to load, I have reinstalled the update again but still it crashed Logic when I want to load SM3...Now I reinstall completely SM3 I guess

Edit: it crashed also Reason when I loaded the VST3

Edit 2: Crash log sent. I removed from the SMsamplesfolders.txt file the path to my iCloud Drive where the sample was coming from, now it works. Looks like the samples folders have to be on the local drive and not the iCloud Drive...

Edit 3: Works as well now with Reason as VST3, the culprit was the Icloud sample folder.

While a native Linux version would indeed be a dream come true, it is totally understandable that business comes first. I really hope your more than generous holiday giveaway will generate prosperity for KV331 in 2026 and everyone involved. We are also seeing a developer hopping in after minutes to help and reply to every comment, which is not a common thing and does not really seem to get the props it should, imho. So a huge thank you from me for that and only the best wishes from me.

/users/shared/synthmaster3/synthmastersamplesfolders.txt
/users/shared/synthmaster3/synthmastersamples.wfdb

This will reset the samples database.

Hi, in the meantime I did exactly what you suggested, I have edited my post accordingly and it works now, looks like he doesn't like sample from the iCloud drive... By the way "moving the slices" means in Slice mode, user, you can move the slice separator, that's what I mean

Hello, I'm looking to upgrade Synthmaster 2 to version 3 and have a few questions. If you don't mind, I'll ask them in this thread.

Will installing SM3 update the existing SM2, leaving me with only one SM3 synth on my system (Windows 10)? Or will SM3 be installed in parallel, leaving both versions on my system?

Regarding presets, will SM3 load all my existing presets from version 2, including those I created? Does SM3 play presets from SM2 without any problems?

And if I have the choice between installing SM3 in parallel or upgrading over version 2, which do you think is better? I'd prefer to keep one SM3 synth on my system, but are there any reasons to keep both?

SM3 installs parallel to SM2, so you can keep both. and it can read SM1/SM2 presets.

I had once asked you about Linux support, and you had said that it would probably come in 2025. I understand the “return on investment” concerns, and the financial difficulties you guys have been experiencing. Thank you for being straightforward with the updated status on the subject—that helps me to stop hoping and wishing and expecting.
