Holding off such purchases until the last possible minute are often subject to missed deadlines

Any chance resonance affecting/ not affecting volume could be a setting in the preferences in the future?
Sometimes it's quite annoying.

Maybe preserving gain is not the solution.bftucker wrote:P. 3 this thread:Stefken wrote:Any chance resonance affecting/ not affecting volume could be a setting in the preferences in the future?

Anyways, i have tons of softsynths and no other has this problem so there has to be a way to deal with it.
The problem is perceived loudness which is not necessary gain.

Other synths have a different filter topology. This is Pro-One. If you remove this behaviour of resonance, it's not a Pro-One anymore. Anyways Urs said it won't happen, so it won't happen. Make peace with that.
Use Sonic Conditioner to makeup the gain after a large amount of resonance is applied.

Also remember when using Sonic Conditioner to massage it in gently with the tips of your fingers in a circular motion.

I guess none of your other synths with a 4-pole ladder/cascade filter can have resonance go this high. Repro-1 is extreme in that sense. It's like you buy the greatest and latest TV-set with the whitest white ever and complain that it's too brightStefken wrote:Anyways, i have tons of softsynths and no other has this problem
That said, we have been discussing adding a filter preset with gain compensated input. But at this point we neither have time to do so, nor can we suddenly pull this out of our sleeves. So we'll evaluate the option at some later point of time, most likely no earlier than after everyone's holiday break. So it might happen, but I can't say if and when. It just obviously won't happen while Repro-1 still is on special, so I won't recommend to buy Repro-1 in hope that this will ever be done.

Hey Urs. This would be great and I'm pretty sure this wil be a popular feature (might even boost your sales ; ) ).Urs wrote: That said, we have been discussing adding a filter preset with gain compensated input.
I"m sure everybody has been working hard to meet the deadline. Enjoy the launch and break!
In the meantime I'll see what dynamic mixing techniques can bring to the table....

Is anyone else having problems registering Repro-1 after purchase? I have put in my user name and serial number exactly like it said in the license e-mail, but it keeps telling me to enter my codes carefully...

Do you have more then one instance of Repro-1 running in the project? if so, try registering while in an empty project with only 1 instance of Repro-1. And then restart Logic.
