Nope, we're still just evaluating 7 bits. 14 bit support (and multichannel and...) has a top spot in the priority list for general improvements that affect all u-he stuff.[/quote]

Thanks.

P.s. please also consider making the Zebra 'glide 2' and 'range' controls automatable.

Cheers Dennis, ill try and test it out later

DIVA just bought and sold PPG 3.V.
I am proud of myself and happy. :-))))))))))

With the number of knobs in Zebra could you also consider NRPN 14-bit message learning? It'd warm this midi-nerd's heart. :)

Are you serious? PPG 3.V is one of my all time favorites (and contains factory sounds from me BTW...). It's also totally different to Diva and most things it can't do could be added with samples.

NRPNs are on the menu too. Got a full blown concept for MIDI (which is also why I'm always postponing it...)

I'm serious. I've waited long enough for a wavetable editor. Nothing has happened. I'm now an editor for the Komplexer. Which is great.
And very important for me. Urs is working with the customer and above all listening to the wishes.

and you get more support for Komplexer?

BTW besides Lector there will be another 64-bit update released very soon so Waldorf is not totally sleeping...

Waldorf does not sleep? No comment.

What about configuring the Diva parameters into a live rack and mapping the rack knobs to 14bit CC's? This is how I have always done and to me it has sounded fantastically "unsteppy".. So all this time it's only been 7bit control? If so then I am even more impressed!

So is it just Live that supports 14 bit midi?

With this method, the 14-bits NRPN MIDI is not converted to MIDI control of the plug-in parameters (at 7-bit resolution), but (directly) to the VST / AU parameters (typically at 32 bit or better resolution, afaik).

Thanks for the clarification, this was what I also thought would happen (ie. the rack would control automatable parameters with a 0. - 1. floating point value).

A direct 14bit CC MIDI support would be even better.. If there was a way to permanently assign the fixed CC numbers of my MIDI controller to always "lock on" to certain Diva parameters! As you know, Live is not exactly generous in it's abilities to globally learn CC mappings.. A constant pain to remap controllers in new projects :(

No worries... we have a big plan. Just need to get there...
