On my user account online, it says the following:
Promo Code Not Used 13-09-2015 $ 30
Anyhow, HELP! Thanks.
If you use the checkout option 'buy' it gives you a coupon code field where you can redeem jam points. Anyhow, at this point I just need my $30 in JPs back since the store had a hiccup. If for some reason these two items are not allowed to be used together, then ok. All I'm trying to do is preorderftech wrote:I recently used Jam Points to buy Gear Credits in the Custom Shop.
Keep in mind that you can only use Jam Points for up to 30% of the transaction.
You would need to buy a $50 credit pack. You would use your Jam Points to buy the credits. 30% of $50 would be $15 off. So for $35 you could pre-order in the Custom Shop.braj wrote:Hey, I have a question for you Peter. I have 61 gear credits, $57 in jam points, but I don't see a way I can use both jam points and gear credits for the same item, online I can't access my gear credits, in the CS I don't see my Jam Points. Can you help?
All those AMPS already exist in other AT3 collection. The real question is are those older AMP heads being remodeled up to the standard of the new MESA collection?Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote:Well, if that's the case the new users better REALLY like Marshall tones or else they're hosed.Peter - IK Multimedia wrote:On the topic of included gear, please note that another factor is the multitude of users who gave us feedback about there being a lot of gear they don't need, etc,![]()
It's not the quantity of amps, it's the lack of versatility. How about this for 5 starter amps:
1. Fender Twin or JC120 (for cleans)
2. AC30 or Bassman (for clean to dirty)
3. Brit Plexi (for classic Marshall)
4. JCM 800 (for modern-ish Marshall)
5. Triple Rectifier/Engl/Bogner (one of those for modern high gain)
At least there, it's more than just Marshall tones. Look at S-Gear, it's 5 amps, all covering different amps/tones. 5 flavors of Marshall isn't the most versatile setup in the world. I'm a Fender amp guy personally (in fact, my Twin Amp is in the shop now getting some much needed repairs).
I'm definitely in the less is more camp myself, but it's gotta be a nice cross section of amps if you're going that route.
The answer was no. So, I'm sure you can assume that newer versions of those amps will pop up in the CS to replace the older models as time goes by.electro wrote: All those AMPS already exist in other AT3 collection. The answer is NO, they have not done this. The only new models are the Marshalls. He's already said that the rest of the models have not been changed.electro wrote:The answer should be yes.
A select number of the more popular AMPS in older collections (the four Funkybot listed) should be remodeled with current Mesa technology and added to their respective collections.
When new more precisely modeled AMPs are Custom Shop only it diminishes the value of the existing collections. Fender collection is already dedicated to Fender Amps. Orange collection dedicated to orange Amps etc. How many new Fender and Orange amps do you want to have that are not included in the collections?SJ_Digriz wrote:The answer is NO, they have not done this. This is no different that redoing the silver from the slash collection. This was inevitable when they went the CS "piece by piece" approach of microtransactions. I don't necessarily like it, but I was just restating information that was already provided to people who ask the same question that has been answer 42 times in the thread already.electro wrote:When new more precisely modeled AMPs are Custom Shop only it diminishes the value of the existing collections. The only alternative is a V2 of the existing collections, but that is a ton of amp remodeling work.
