The SonicCouture stuff is top notch and $329 for so many of their libraries was a fantastic deal. Most of the time when they do a sale it's usually 40-50% off the full price so never gets close to that 84% discount on the bundle

Just curious...Did U-he charge tax for USA customers before they changed the currency? (If not, then the price has literally been raised more than 10%)

I don't believe they did. They did post about the pricing change and the impact:hhuang9611 wrote:Just curious...Did U-he charge tax for USA customers before they changed the currency? (If not, then the price has literally been raised more than 10%)
I did notice you can get u-he products in the KVR Marketplace: https://www.kvraudio.com/developer/u-heOn July 2nd 2018 we will be switching the reference currency in our online shop from USD to EUR* and all prices will appear tax-inclusive. For instance, what is currently "129$ + applicable taxes" will simply appear as "129€". This is the total price for everyone, whether tax is included or not.
The vast majority of our customers needs to pay VAT or GST anyway. For most of you around the world, our stuff will get slightly cheaper (we reckon 5% on average). For others it will become slightly more expensive (5-15%, depending on how much or how little VAT you paid before). Check out our Newsletter Special to help with the transition.
Don't know if KVR Marketplace charges tax or not.

Thanks for the info. Sigh, I just feel I was having really really bad luck of getting u-he stuff lately. Not to mention I just found that all synth bundle's price has gone up another €30 this morning. (No intention to criticise u-he’s recent policy change, I do understand the reason behind all this). It's just so sad to see the price raise in front of my eyes, TWICE. I could have saved about $150 if I had bought the bundle just a month ago (but I did not have the money at that time, and neither do I now due to the currency change). Arrgh...I just feel so bad
I'm telling you, all these amazing u-he stuff, they are always trying to avoid me.

Usually prices go down the older they get. I'm just glad that is not something I use.....hhuang9611 wrote:Thanks for the info. Not for u-he stuff tho. And they hardly do any sale. But I'm sure all the stuffs are worth the price, which however, is getting more and more unaffordable for me. Probably just gonna keep a close eye on the forum and wait others let go of their u-he stuff.
Arrrgh....So sad!!!

u-he literally ALWAYS goes up over time. They have the pre-order discounts and then the prices almost always are permanently full price after. The only time I've seen them bring prices down was when they put DIVA on sale and then it was either the same as or higher than the pre-order price.

I haven't seen much besides intro pricing but I haven't been paying attention to them for that long!woggle wrote:Do cableguys offer discounts very often? I am interested in pretty much everything they make. They ont seem to come up secondhand much either

The Cableguys All Bundle was 22% off in December, $139 instead of $179. I can discount it to get it a bit closer to $139.

Exactly... Hope JJR can hold up the USD price for uhe stuff long enough for me to buy them individually. Seriously, JRR is the only place now where I can afford buying uhe. Thank you Uncle E!

Thanks for that offer, I will PM you when I finish testing a bit more. Gotta say that so far their plugins come across as very well designed for the user. Do they allow license transfers if I buy from you ? Im trying to avoid buying from companies that dont allow transfersUncle E wrote:The Cableguys All Bundle was 22% off in December, $139 instead of $179. Uhe stuff is always a challenge to get at discount, other than intros, the best
coupons for me have come due to owning Bitwig, although it's unclear
if that will ever happen again.
I have about 70% of their products currently, and I have been growing
my uhe collection for about 12 years (pretty sure). =)
