A very creative workflow. Quite unique, I haven't seen anything like it so far. Almost all parameters are gesture-recordable. Not the best sounding granular engine around (can sound a bit edgy and rough) but its very fluid and organic workflow largely compensate that small drawback.

Hi, Avenger has a good granular engine and Uvi Falcon also :)
aliasing plugin owner

Not a plugin, just hardware, but granular de luxe:

I think Borderlands on iOS is the best…I wonder if they will ever make a VST (although it really needs the touch screen)
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

It started out as an open source standalone (iirc) app actually, maybe the website is still up. I remember compiling it from source, but then waiting patiently for the iPad app, which is really beautiful.

Yeah it's up there with TC-11 as one of the few iOS synths that really makes full use of the touch interface

I think this one will be the new best granular:

Borderlands is awesome! By far my favorite granular synth. And yeah, it needs the multi-touch interface.

Basically, my iPad Pro is a dedicated Borderlands synth! :tu:

Do you have the iPad Pro 12.9"?
I have the iPad Air with the 9.5 screen.
Wondering if I should get the 12.9", perhaps a used or refurbished.

There so many good music apps available for the iPad.
Wish, that these developers would port their apps to the Windows OS.

Click on my signature.

Might get Borderlands and/or Novum.

This looks good - Is it connected top Traction in some way as Abyss was (for some reason I have never gotten on with the Traction synths)

Yeah Peter the guy behind Dawesome has a marketing agreement with Tracktion. He gets to design the synths the way he wants them, and Tracktion handles the advertising and money. Tracktion hosts a few other designers this way as well e.g. MOK

Ah OK- thanks- I tried the demo of Abyss as it looked really interesting but unfortunately I just didn't get on with its sound (it looked more interesting than it sounded to me at least...and the GUI was a bit more style of usability for me) . Hopefully his granular synth will be more to my taste.

Yeah, I have the 12.9" iPad Pro... I like the big screen size, especially for drawing!
