Unsupported Plugins that work on Receptor!

The only problem with FXB files is that there is a bug that means they install in another forder than that defined by the installation of the plug.
For example, if you install a Vanguard FXB, instead of creating a folder with the FXP presets in /Banks and Patches/reFX/Vanguard, it puts the new folder in /Banks and Patches/ard.
The solution is one of the following three:
1- to leave it where it is and not bother about it.
2- to drag the folder back to your PC, remove the two invisible files, delete the bank with SAVE/FILE once the plug has been loaded in the Receptor, close the plug, drag back the folder in /Drop Installers Here.
3- to export the FXB file as a bunch of FXP on your PC (I use TunaFish for that) inside a folder first, copy the folder to /Drop Installers Here. This time, the bank is created where it should have been in the first place.

Also, on your host, you can save the factory sounds as a single FXB, then install that on Receptor instantly. Fabulous. I love synths that support FXP and FXB (I think they ALL should personally). Thanks Maxx!!
Lastly, the new Bank of ToxicIII sounds from T3 has been released and they sound fabulous. Again, they are provided in FXB format, so one file drag and you have them ALL as Receptorized patches. http://t3.totcproductions.com/product003.html
I could not get it to work on my receptor

After uninstalling Toxic II, did you do the "multi - 3 x power" key combi to reset ? Worth a shot before installing Toxic III.
If this doesn't work, perhaps Toxic II left some entries in the registry that would not clear when uninstalling it.

Hey Kermit, I have just released version 1.5 which exports presets the way you requested: they are now properly numbered (000-999) and the names are checked for invalid characters. You can download the update from my site. Enjoy.Kermit Jagger wrote:3- to export the FXB file as a bunch of FXP on your PC (I use TunaFish for that) inside a folder first

Have you upgraded to the latest 1.5 OS for Receptor? Several people including me experienced something strange where NOTHING would install until we upgraded. Then all was well again. I had a ticket open on plugorama about it....they said something about their "signing certs" expiring in the old 1.5 and hence the need to update to the new one.tconrardy wrote: I could not get it to work on my receptor![]()
But I had Toxic2 installed, so i tried deleting that folder, cleared the cashe, but still no go.

I cannot get Oatmeal (36-1) to work. Installs ok, and FXB's install, and it makes nice sound, but the GUI will not render. Flashes up a series of error messages I can click through, starting with "no main background image set in skin description". After I click through them I have gotten a black screen and/or the default small GUI, but even that will not respond to mouse clicks.tconrardy wrote:Oatmeal works...and what a fantastic synth..I don't have to get a virus now
