It is purely a hardware device for VSTi or effects processing VST's.
The V-Rack will have this feature as it will stream thru cat5. Mid next year my friend.
hmmm I am not sure I understand what you want to do here, if you have a VSTi which you are using live why would you want to record it into Logic...
