guess what... U-he vsts are great & nice to have for many
hence they were included not once now into the Bitwig sales as free - now many people upgraded their licenses well into 2024 so what next to do... hey ...yeee - lets introduce pay for add-ons in Bitwig - there you go ... as how else can they get more people upgrading and paying more...so they thought...

As a Bitwig user, I am also disappointed with their decision to charge users with active upgrade plans for extra stuff-- but that was Bitwig's decision. While it's unfortunate that u-he synths were basically used as bait to lure new users just days before this announcement was made, I seriously doubt anyone working at u-he was aware of this unexpected change to their business model. Nobody saw this coming. But it does make me sad that u-he was close to the wreckage. Hopefully Bitwig can do some damage control because this whole thing is a complete disaster.

100% - I don't think dragging u-he into the bitwig implosion is helpful or warranted.Sound Author wrote: Thu Oct 06, 2022 3:28 am As a Bitwig user, I am also disappointed with their decision to charge users with active upgrade plans for extra stuff-- but that was Bitwig's decision. The current Zebra skin looks alright imo.gentleclockdivider wrote: Fri Sep 16, 2022 9:16 am I found the original zebra 2.0 gui a bit of a misser ,especially the weird 3D- shaped modules.
Dark horse alternative gui to the rescue , everything from 2.5 onwards was imho perfect .
Evolution of the modules appearance over time , I find 2.8 alternative blue gui the best looking but that's sadly not available for Zebrz Hz

I fully agree. The default skin as well as the dark blue one are great.Biome_Digital wrote: Fri Oct 07, 2022 8:06 amThe current Zebra skin looks alright imo.gentleclockdivider wrote: Fri Sep 16, 2022 9:16 am I found the original zebra 2.0 gui a bit of a misser ,especially the weird 3D- shaped modules.

I awake, as did Rip Van Winkle from a long and peaceful sleep.
The world had changed, some TV game show host AND a movie star (mostly known for his movies with chimps) had long ago become presidents.
Something called the iphone peppered the landscape as far as the eye could see in a world preoccupied with conversations, happening with people far away.
The gasoline engine was just about to be replaced by the electric engine.
But one thing had remained the same, one animal known for his stripes had remained repetitively unaffected....
Maybe if I reseed into slumbers for some more years, yea, that will do the trick....

Always depends on the unforeseen distractions thrown at me, such as when some presets of Satin sound different at different sample rates. Then of course it may happened that a few weeks I have to do something unexpected that doesn't translate into progress of Z3. I would prefer to just work on Z3, but it's not always possible.MorpherX wrote: Sun Oct 09, 2022 2:32 pm I am wondering what's happen with Zebralette 3 ?
Shoud'nt it be released this or next month ?

There is something I find very usefull in the plugmon skin, "neumann pro" at least,: the preset browser keeps the routing window displayed, so that we can see which modules are used while trying a preset.

Yes. There's only "before and after" for the initial purchase of the license - Z2 or ZL. If a license is transferred, the type of license remains the same as the initial purchase.roman.i wrote: Mon Oct 10, 2022 4:56 pm If I buy a used Zebra 2, will it be eligible for the Zebra 3 crossgrade same as "new" one?

Thanks for the confirmation Urs! I've recently bought a used Zebra2 and was wondering the same thing.Urs wrote: Mon Oct 10, 2022 6:15 pm Yes.
