There are probably other instances but luckily one doesn't always realize when it's happening.
Ever think you were making music when you weren't

It must've been sometime in the mid 1970s I was going through a precocious experimental phase and did some bizarre Sonny Sharrock/Derek Bailey imitation on my 335 and I guess the muse must've gotten seriously offended and just abandoned me.

I don't get it, having a less than great computer has f**k all to do with prolificness surely?
I churn them out like butter (during creative spells) , sometimes i can't do anything at all, it comes and goes like the weather.
The meagre spells are far more frequent though
but I've never felt that me having a G4 400 MhZ has any part in it.

my problem is I get sounds and beats in my head, but I'm not good enough at synthesis. I can program the beats but they don't sound right without the SOUND that I'm hearing in my head....but I'm don't have a clue regarding how to build some of these sound that I can imagine. Need a brain to xlr interface.

I found this book on Amazon that you might be interested in. I haven't read it yet myself, but I perused it using Amazon's Search Inside feature and it looks like it might be helpful!bluedad wrote:Even though I'm surrounded with keyboards, guitars, studio monitors etc, I'm only kidding myself that I'm making music. hell, I was MUCH more prolific at age 14 with only a mono track Webcor tape recorder.
