Hi Beno,

Is all the exclusive Plugins/vst provide with the T2 box version will still work with T3 in the case I upgrade with the download version? My main concern here is RMIV... was the limitation on the plugin only making sure it was Tracktion the host or it was actually exclusive to T2?

Ouch! That's crucial. T2-RMIV is picky. Doesn't work even subhosted within Jamstix within Tracktion

LinPlug has told us that they will provide an upgrade to allow T2 RMIV to work in T3.

The LinPlug lite versions included in the project bundle don't have the extensive editing capabilities or as big of a sound set as the ones included in the ultimate bundles. GPO Lite has less instruments as does DrumCore TK Diet. Amplitube DUO is an upgrade to LE based on the Amplitube 2 plug-in. Its not finished yet so I don't know the details.

Tracktion will still work in OS10.3.9 as well as Win 2000 and VISTA, but please note that not all the bundled plug-ins will. So the official system requirements list XP and 10.4.

Silly question here: will unfinished T2 projects import OK into T3? I have several that will not be done by time T3 rolls out. I realize that doing a program upgrade in the middle of a project is slightly against good prudence, but I am anxious for T3's Rex support.

Channel Strip?

T2 projects will import into T3 in most cases. But we do recommend you finish everything in T2 first (both T2 and T3 can be installed on the same machine at the same time). This is because there are some things that don't translate such as the pitch shifting.

Yeah that's about it if I remember correctly. But we officially recommend you finish everything in T2 first since we can't test every scenario and there is bound to be some combination of items in your edit that might not work.
