8) :!: :tu:
And... each interface has its own "default" preset.
So when you instantiate a "basic skin" for instance, you get a 4 osc + lp24 filter sound.

I have to add that those 4 OSCs are divided to 2 Layers, each having 2 OSCs. This works quite similar to Sylenth1 but has many more features for each Layer.

If you use an additive oscillator for all 4 OSCs you could have up to 4 x 8 = 32 Oscillators. The additive oscillator of Synthmaster 2 could be used like 8 independent "basic" oscillators.

Sooner or later i will make a skin only with the features i really use. I will publish that here when it's ready. I also had the idea of creating a skin which corresponds to PPG Wave 2.V.

- triplet or dotted settings for the LFOs (when synced) / or a swing setting
- bigger range for the "not synced LFO" (for example the highest rate setting of a LFO at 120 BPM is slower than at 1/64 synced)

My bad. They already exist, but I should just add the controls to the default skin.

Sounds good ;-)

What would also be a good thing, is a faster way to select the waves for the wavetables - perhaps a scrollable list (with mousewheel support) or a popup window with multiple rows or whatever better way you have in mind.
Now that there are so much waves too choose from (which is fantastic !!) it takes really long (feeled time ;-) ) to scroll through them.
Perhaps for a point update...

one thing that would be insane,is like a timestretch engine, where you could timestretch the sounds INSIDE synthmaster for different weird effects and sounds

How about categorizing waveforms? That could ease choosing waveforms maybe?

I guess this could be a nice idea.

I hope the rest of your vacation will be nice, Bulent. :)

I think that's "too much"... Sample your sounds an stretch them afterwards.

some things that would be nice in synthmaster after a short look at the beta:

effects:
3 bad eq(pultec style)
distortion and bitcrusher effect

unison mod with detune(atm is only the choice of uni-voices)

But Metasonix got some nice demos of their weird boxes too.
Very nice idea!

Actually, I'm planning to add a "bias" parameter to the filter, which might be used to add bias to input before saturating inside the filter stages. Might be helpful in generating Even ordered harmonics

i just tried a old demo i had laying on my harddrive of white noises doppelmangler

http://www.kvraudio.com/get/987.html

it really can make some nice crazy effects with the formant stuff, just a idea
(off to DL the new version :D )

I have been trying the new Betas, and I somehow find the sound of SynthMaster too "plastic" or "digital" (in the bad meaning).
Yesterday, I did an A/B comparison with version 1.5, and that one has a much warmer and full sound, as I actually remembered. What happened to the sound? Can we expect to have the same sound (at least) in the new version?
