KV331 Audio has announced the release of SynthMaster 3 Player iOS on the AppStore, available as a free standalone application and AUv3 plugin running on iOS.
Introduction
SynthMaster 3 Player iOS is the mobile player version of KV331 Audio's flagship synthesizer SynthMaster 3. It is tailored towards users who prefer tweaking existing presets over designing sounds from scratch. It is available for free on Apple AppStore as a standalone app and AUv3 plugin.
Free Factory Content
SynthMaster 3 Player iOS comes with 200 presets curated from SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3 factory libraries. Once users complete registration, the number of free presets increases to 500.
Existing SynthMaster 3 Player (desktop) users can register with their registered e-mail addresses to download all of their desktop presets including SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3 factory presets.
Existing SynthMaster Player iOS / SynthMaster One iOS / SynthMaster 2 iOS users can also register with their registered e-mail addresses to download all of their prior in app purchases.
Rich Content Library
SynthMaster 3 Player iOS is compatible with SynthMaster One, SynthMaster 2 and SynthMaster 3 expansion banks. There are currently 60 expansion banks for a wide range of genres to choose from. Users can easily purchase these expansions through the In-App Shop inside the app.
SynthMaster 3 Player iOS comes with 16 in app purchase items that are 20% off until June 1.
Much More than a ROMpler Synth
Although users can not edit layer modules and modulation sources, they can edit all other layer parts such as keyboard zones, velocity zones, voicing, unison, arpeggiator, sequencer and insert FX.
SynthMaster 3 Player iOS provides 2 different types of interfaces to edit layer parameters: Track View and Mix View.
Comprehensive Preset Browser
SynthMaster 3 Player iOS features an intuitive preset browser with advanced search features. Presets can be filtered by Product, Author, Bank, Instrument Type, Attributes, Styles (Genres), Preset Name, Release Date or Favourite Flag.
Thanks to the multi-layered architecture of SynthMaster 3, presets can be loaded into existing or new layers to create multi-layer patches / drum kits.
Presets in SynthMaster 3 Player iOS have built-in previews. Users can listen to the preview of a preset by turning on the Preview mode by clicking on the Play icon and then clicking on a preset to listen to its preview.
Multiple Interfaces
SynthMaster 3 Player iOS comes with user interfaces in different sizes to support multiple iOS devices such as iPad 10 inch, iPad 11 inch, iPad 13 inch, iPhone 6.1 inch and iPhone 6.5 inch.
