Okey, so I fixed halo around the knobs.
The tracking line is slightly off, but we can live with that.

The package by default is now with the slim dymos with option for
the original ones if you prefer them instead: Divalicious.zip

And sorry for all the nitpicking

Looks nice. I thought I could just grab the panes and copy them over into a duplicate of one of my other skins but it always crashes, so I guess you're not supposed to do that (probably because of different functions like the NExt/Previous presets being on the same side etc.). I admit I didn't follow instructions, so I'll try that way instead. I have about 5 other skins and I've never had to overwrite the main diva script.

This skin is involved and actually changing some of the smaller details. I *believe* that is why it requires updating diva.txt script file AND why it is installed differently than other skins. *NICE skin by the way, although I always tend to stay w Default skins. Boring I know..but I REALLY like the RedWood one. I've come to know Diva in this red dress. ;)

No problem. :)

@ snigelx and Echoes

Yeah, since Diva doesn't automatically detect other skin layouts, you need to
manually add a line in the Diva.txt :
----------------
ALTERNATIVE name='Displayed Name' filename='Skin Layout File.txt'
----------------
Furthermore, two or more different knobs or switches can't reside in the same
folder, even if you re-name the objects. I you try, the result will look weird
or it may even crash Diva.

I've just tried to move my own files from 'Controls' and 'Panes' folder to
new ones; 'Control_OT' and 'Panes_OT', and it works despite there's no
reference to these folder. I guess Diva finds them anyway, as long they're
in the 'Images' folder. The exception would be everything animated, which
need to be in the 'Animations' folder. On the whole; very clever.
A good way to keep everything separate and organized. Thanks Urs! 8)

So I installed it as instructed (I think, it doesn't actually say where to put the image files). I overwrote the diva.txt and put the data files in the corresponding folders in the VST package contents.

I can select the skin from the dropdown and it doesn't function properly (right/left preset arrows work on the right side). However it does crash Ableton when changing the skin back to something else...

Is there not a way to have the image and 'data' files in the themes folder like other skins? It doesn't seem right to have to put it in the VST contents, not to mention that will get overwritten when an update comes out.

In the Diva's Data folder? Ok.

It functions properly.
I just prefer the arrows being close to each other (less mouse movement).
The Ableton thing is a problem though. It could be Ableton or...
Actually, I'm not sure how well implemented the skin(switch) support is.
I think that's a question for Urs and his team.

If you're concerned about my skin being overwritten in case of an update, then
you need not worry. My graphic files all have unique names.
You may want to make a copy of the Diva.txt file though.
It's important that this line is in that file:
ALTERNATIVE name='Divalicious' filename='Diva_Divalicious.txt'

Hope that helps.

Sorry, that was supposed to say it does function properly. The only problem is the crashing.

Thanks, I'm guessing a bit of the confusion is that you probably made it on Windows, which may have a different folder name in the VST than mac, which doesn't actually have a data folder. And I think on mac it won't keep your files after an update, even though they are named different. There is a themes folder for that purpose though. I wonder if Urs can shed some light on what is the best way to have an alternate theme when more is involved than just pictures.

cheers

That would be great.

This is such a beautiful skin. There is however a graphic glitch - Whenever I tweak touch any of the moog knobs, lines show up on the gui, usually on either side of the knob that was touched. Anyone else get that?

Could it be that there is a bit of extra white space on the animation images for the moog knobs or something?

im using a mac - how does this work?

@Echoes in the attic

I have the same problem but on Logic. Only on other hosts.

I'm using Ableton Live, VST only. Haven't tested Logic.

@Echo & @filulilu:

Looks ok here. Strange.
Could be the host or a bug in Diva.
Try this knob first: Knob7LED_OT.zip

Let me know how it works.
